A/N Just to complete my triple update I figured I'd post the prologue to another story I'm writing, probably after I've finished Worlds Apart. Just a short little preview/prologue thing.

LOST AND FOUND

CHAPTER ONE

Susan's eyelids were drooping as she sprawled on the daybed, her head resting against a mound of cushions. It was mid afternoon and she had just helped to clear away the remains of her friend Emily's latest tea party. They were a weekly event, and an occasion that Susan never missed. Comprising of the latest gossip, make up tips, hair styles and a sumptuous spread of food, it was the highlight of her week, somehow none of the other social gatherings seemed to compare.

Though as fun as they were Susan usually found them draining, listening attentively for two hours straight was a chore but an enjoyable one and an educational one. After all today she had learned that Richard Andrews, one of London's most eligible bachelors was in search of a wife after his father, a highly respected factory owner, laid down the law and told his son to marry or forfeit his inheritance. Well Susan was all for helping someone in need, now if only they could have a 'chance' meeting. As she half dozed, her mind was active, plotting many different scenarios and her petite mouth upturned at the day dreams.

It was then that she was disturbed, her hostess Emily Wright bustled in with a small glass of wine each. She set the tray down on the table and Susan roused herself into a more agreeable position for a young lady. She graciously accepted the glass and waited until Emily had settled opposite before tasting the robust liquid. Smiling at her friend she waited for the inevitable conversation that was soon to follow. Sure enough she had just finished her second sip when Emily set her glass down and reached for a silk box.

"So, Susan, I didn't get the chance to ask before, how are you?" Copying her hostess in placing her own wine down Susan took a proffered chocolate and answered that she was fine and inquired as to Emily's health.

"Oh you know my dear, I'm always good," She flicked her wrist at the rather lavish surroundings. "Now to more important things, I noticed during our little conversation earlier that you seemed quite interested in what Mrs Baker had to say about Mr Andrews. Are you perchance going to pursue him?" She shot Susan a knowing smile before selecting and munching on a caramel filled chocolate.

"Of course not Em, what do you take me for?" Emily raised an eyebrow and Susan smiled over the rim of her wineglass before continuing, "I shall of course let him do the pursuing." The older woman gave out a bark like laugh and offered Susan the chocolate box again. This time Susan declined, "I have already eaten far too much Em, if I eat anymore the new dress I bought yesterday will be wasted."

Before her friend could reply, the butler entered the room.

"I am sorry for the interruption Madam but Miss Pevensie has an urgent telephone call." Susan excused herself and trailed the butler to the phone, wondering who could be calling her here. She waited until he had returned to the kitchen before lifting the receiver to her ear and asking who was calling. She recognised the voice immediately as that of her brother, Peter.

"Susan, there's been a train crash."
