A/n: hey guys thus is a one shot for speed racer so yeah it just is random you know speed and Lucy's relationship was on the rocks when speed accidentally stood her up on the dance and to make it up to her he saves her life and says I owe you a dance and they dance in the garage so I thought this would be cute to be Lucy's about their relationship
Lucy's pov
In the past year a lot has changed in my life. Almost all of those changes consist around speed racer. No not the speed racer but his son. A year ago kids like x racer and anilise zazic and I, had a unwritten contract called "I don't like you don't like me". Never in a million years would I've thought we'd be allies, let alone semi friends. But like all things opinions do change. Speed racer came out of the blue one day and turned the school upside down. He solved so many mysteries' none of us even knew existed. He found a softer side to x, exposed zile's true colors, revealed that speed sr. Is still alive, hell he even found some good in anilese. I never met anyone quite like him, he's cocky yet sweet, smart yet naive he's the one and only speed racer Jr. Things were rocky between us for a while, but now were back and im glad. He saved my life and we danced, but sometimes i wonder, how does he see me, as his friend or something more, or maybe were just racing were just racing through hoops, neither yet both, all in one. Maybe it's better that way. If know you can't have a broken heart, everybody wins. Like everything we will change, hopefully not soon.
