Colours
A vast range of colors exist, from blue to knock-my-socks-off pink. Your challenge is to pick one (or more) color(s) to play into your piece. It can be the clothing of the character, the color of the room, the color of the mood, anything!
This also fits the 13th May Prompt of the Day on Hogwarts Online: The madness within. (I know it's a stretch, but it does show the madness – well, it's Bellatrix – and the fact that it's within her, reigning in her blood, overwhelming her... I found this fitting)
Named after the Tarja Turunen song, Crimson Deep (the lyrics don't exactly fit, but the spirit of the song can do, somehow... that's just my opinion).
It glows.
Red, the colour of blood traitors – it feels so wrong to her, that plain simple fact, makes her bristle angrily, for red is her value. Red is blood, cracking with magic – always old, ever new.

Red makes her hot-headed, almost feverish with passion. Red makes her thirst and strike, and red makes her drown – drown into scarlet, into a force well beyond her, unreachable, yet there.

Red for passion, for hurting and for war, like the bleeding sunset of the world she's always known.
