Ok, I seem to have a crazy love of song parody, since this is like, my third in a week. But whatever. This is a parody of The Sound Of Silence by Simon and Garfunkle. It's all about the experience a return viewer has with The Rocky Horror Picture Show. I do not own Sound Of Silence or Rocky Horror. Please do not sue me.
Double Feature, my old friend.
I've come to see it yet again.
And in the midnight movie light I see,
Damnit Janet right in front of me.
Being played by a bunch of college shadowcasters.
Aspiring actors.
It's time to do, some call-backs.
They're sadly caught with a flat.
The rain might ruin Janet's hat.
But Brad knows that not too far away.
There's a castle they can maybe stay.
There's a light at the Frankenstein place where they can phone
To get them home.
I must yell out, those call-backs.
Time Warp time with the siblings
And the Transylvanians sing.
Everyone stands so we can do the dance.
It seems nobody is wearing pants.
The corset and the beads are much more fun
Then wearing some.
When we dance, we still call-back.
Frankie the sweet Transvestite
Has made a man with hair so light.
But the Sword of Damocles is there
Over the man with the gold underwear.
Then Eddie died when he left the freezerie
With the groupie.
It's time for more, of the call-backs.
Janet gets touched by Rocky.
Oh how I wish that he was me!
Brad gets sad about her wandering
But even worse is that she's fondling
The less then seven hour old creature
With great features.
I think Janet, deserves call-backs.
You better wise up Janet Weiss,
Your apple pie don't taste too nice
We know what will be coming soon enough
An orgie in a pool with clown make-up
It'll rose tint your world till you can not dream it
You must be it
This makes for great, call-backs
But then Magenta and Riff
Have come in for them to lift
The castle back to their planet
They only leave Brad, Scott and Janet.
Frank and Collie and Rocky were killed before
They left for the shore
Of their planet. We do call-backs.
And that's the end of the show.
What happens next we'll never know.
What happens to Riff and Magenta?
Why'd they kill Frank, and Columbia?
Are the slut and asshole still together now,
After all went down?
We'll only know, in fanfiction…
