Isabelle was clearly wasted. Simon could see it in her eyes. She had these big wild eyes. She hadn't seen her this messed up since Max. She looked like an absolute hot mess.
She as surrounded by guys, all of them begging to buy her a drink. And she gladly accepted each ones offering. Simon convinced himself it didn't bother him.
Yeah, right. He was furious. She was better than this, she had seen her recover from thousands of break-ups but not like this. O definitely not like this. She just trained. A lot. Like nonstop knife throwing. Not going out and being the biggest slut in town.
And it bothered him. Like crazy. He was tempted to walk over to one of those little pervs and suck the life out of them. He kept his cool, downing one shot of tequila after the other. Nope. He wouldn't show weakness. O hell no. He was gonna let her see that he's just fine without her.
But he's not, why was he acting like this? He's the one who ended it. She looks ten times better than him. And she shows no emotion, she looks better, almost happier.
At the end of the night he decides to talk to her.
"What do you want?" She demands.
"How do I phrase this without sounding pathetic? You see Iz, all I want is you."
She bites her lip before saying, "Moron over there gave me his keys, lets get out of here."
She takes his hand and they hop into the car and they drive miles on end before getting pulled over.
"License and registration miss?" The cop asks.
Isabelle smiles, "Sir, you have to let me go. Please my ex-boyfriend is right behind us and he won't leave me alone, he's convinced I still love him, but I don't please make him go away!"
"What's his name miss-"
"Lightwood, Isabelle Lightwood, his name is um Blake. Blake Bryan."
"We'll see that he leaves you alone, now drive safely."
She smiles at him before we speed down toward the Institute.
"Were the hell are we supposed to park this?" Simon asks.
"Sanctuary. Duh, Jace will love it!"
