"Um…do you even know what a baby daddy is?' Angela asked her.

"What? No, I heard it at the store the other day. A girl was talking about a guy who was holding a baby for her. She called him the baby daddy, so…"

"Ah, yeah. Bren…no…"

"So what does it mean?"

"Well, it means a man who is the father of your baby."

"My baby?"

"Well, any woman's baby, I guess…so I guess if you were having a baby with a man and you weren't married to him or whatever, he's the baby daddy."

"Oh…Booth…yeah. He's not my baby daddy, but…"
"But what?"

'Well…why'd he call me the daddy mommy?"
"He called you the daddy mommy?"

"Yes…what does that mean?" Brennan asked her.

"I don't know…and I can't wait to find out."

"Ange, no…wait…"
Angela laughed.

"Sorry…too late."

Later that day...

"So, Booth…'

"Yeah?"

"She really called you her baby daddy?"

Booth laughed, "Yeah…well not 'her' baby daddy, you know, not her baby."

"Oh, yeah, sure…she's funny." Angela smiled.

Hodgins just shook his head.

"Dude."

"Don't call me dude, but yeah, I don't think she even knew what she was talking about."
"Oh, sure…I mean she does that all the time, unlike you of course."

"Yeah" Booth answered. "I always know what I'm talking about."

Hodgins smiled. He was always amazed at the way his fiancée totally drew unsuspecting people into her verbal traps. Oh, Booth…he patted him on the arm.

"What was that for?"
"Dude…" he said again and shook his head.

"So…you called her the daddy mommy."
"What?"

"Bren called you the baby daddy and you said she could be the daddy mommy."

"Booth" Zack interrupted. "I'm curious. What exactly is a daddy mommy?"

"Not funny, Zack."

"I wasn't meaning to be funny. Do I look like I was meaning to be funny? Because I've been working on my looks at home in the mirror. Here is my mad face." He raised an eyebrow. "Here is my surprised face." Zack raised both eyebrows. "Now, could you describe the way I was looking when I was allegedly looking 'funny', please? I'd like to know for my research"

"What's my face say?" Booth asked him.

"Um…I have a gun."

"Smart squint. Now, all of you…I don't want to hear another word about this."

"Oh, hey Booth." Cam came up the steps.

"Cam, hey."
"Booth, you dropped your phone. I heard it ringing. It's for you, of course."

"Oh, thanks Cam."

"It's your daddy mommy."
He snatched the phone, storming down the steps.

"Bones? Where are you?"
