"Zuko," Iroh whispers as he watches the boat slowly burn.

He falls to his knees and tears softly spill onto his cheeks. "Zuko."

Iroh doesn't know what to say, or what to do. He doesn't know how to function or how to stand back up.

His mind rushes a million miles an hour drifting from one person to another, one person he's lost to another.

His wife, his son, his nephew. Everyone.

After Lu Ten died Iroh was sure that he couldn't keep on living, sure that he was alone in the world and that he had no one left. But then he realized that he did have someone left, and now that someone is gone too.

Gone forever.

He can't help but blame himself; he can't help but blame himself for everything.

Zuko was like a son to him, now he's lost two sons. Now he's lost Zuko.

He turns his head towards the ground no longer being able to bear the sight of the ship burning, no longer being able to bear watching Zuko die.

"Leaves from the vine

Falling so slow

Like fragile, tiny shells

Drifting in the foam

Little soldier boy

Come marching home

Brave soldier boy

Comes marching home." Tears fall out of Iroh's eyes as he finishes the last line.

"Uncle?"

Iroh turns around to see Zuko standing behind him. Zuko sits down next to Iroh and Iroh throws his arms around him. "Zuko," he cries.

"It's okay Uncle," Zuko whispers awkwardly. "It's okay."

"Your right Zuko, it is okay," Iroh whispers back as one last tear falls out of the corner of his eye. His mouth shapes into a smile as he hugs Zuko again, tighter. He'll never let go.

This was originally supposed to be about Iroh and Lu Ten but this came out instead. And I know that no one really knows if Iroh's wife is dead, but I tend to think so. Anyway please review. Thanks for reading.
