Insurance

"Hello academy insurance, this is Karin speaking, how may I help you?" A female voice said over the phone.

"Hi, this is Tommy Oliver. I own a black Jeep and I've got to make a claim." He said and hid a sighed, he didn't know how he was going to explain this. He gave her his account information.

"Alright, I'll look up your account. Hold on a minute." She said and he could hear typing in the back ground. "Okay Mr. Oliver I've got your account up. What can I help you with?"

"I live in Reefside. As you know they've been getting a lot of monster attacks lately and one happened to run into my jeep yesterday." He said, wincing at how that must have sounded.

"Alright. Do you know what kind of monster it was?" She said and he could hear the sounds of typing in the background.

Tommy blinked, was she actually believing in him? "I don't really know, it was really fast and was gold and red. The other monster, Zaltrax called him his son." He said.

"Okay, send the repair bill to us and we'll cover it for you Mr. Oliver." She said.

"Huh?" He said, he still couldn't believe his insurance company was letting him get away with something like this. "You believe me?" He asked, he just couldn't help it.

Karin sighed. "We do Mr. Oliver, enough of our clients in California have reported other incidents like these through the years. Trust me your claim isn't the most out there. We had this one guy last month, named Rocky, who's car was half eaten by some monster, another man's car was stepped on, his name was Zach if I remember correctly. And before that a woman named Kim actually got on tape a monster destroying her car. So we actually have several other people who can prove that this happens. Besides since you live in California your already paying an extra fee for monster damages. Just like you do for your homes." She said.

"Thanks." Tommy said, shocked as he hung up. He'd been paying for monster damages all this time and he'd never used it before? "They don't tell you that." He mumbled defensively. If only he'd known so many years earlier.

"Damnit, Rocky, Zach, and Kim are going to get it for not telling me." He said than sighed. "Right, and give beautiful one more reason to tease me, not going to happen." He said standing up and walking out to his house, he had to get it all fixed up before the next attack the way it was taking a beating lately. He had to shake his mind away from his long time girlfriend and now fiancée as he locked up his house and walked to his jeep. She'd be moving there soon, and then she'd get to meet his new rangers.

"So who was that?" Tasha, Karin's friend and fellow insurance agent asked as they were taking a break.

Karin looked at her and grinned. "Just another ex-power ranger. They're the only ones that even try to claim monster attacks on their cars. You'd think everyone would realize they pay for it but they never do."
