A/N: Before any of you Florida weather nerds come to challenge my knowledge of a Florida winter, please don't. I live in Florida; I have my whole life. So, please don't be one of those smart alecks who try to tell me about the weather of the state I live in by telling me I'm wrong and that I need to do research. Then, when I correct you try to play innocent while admitting you've never been to my state. It just really gets my fire burning.

For all you writers, who want/need advice on how to write a Miami winter, here are the basics of what the weather is like.

Climate. Throughout November through early March we get: constant wind, hail, sleet, and rain. We do not get snow and we can't ice skate on lakes. If we want to ice skate we have to go to a specialized rink or travel to Georgia or some other cold place.

Typically, it is overcast with the eerie sent of rain, but every few days or so we get sunshine for a few hours if we're lucky.

Temperature. It gets below freezing (32 degrees) maybe once every few weeks. The average temperature is 60 to 70 (sometime 80) degrees in the morning (jeans and a light coat) and 40 to 50 degrees (heavy coat and jeans) at night.

Those are the basics that I believe people can work off of, but if anyone would like to ask me (a person of Florida residence) a question about the weather or winter dress without getting confused from Google or Bing just review or PM me about it and I will be sure to answer.
