I tossed and turned in my bed clear past midnight.

The memories of that month wouldn't stop torturing me. "I'm afraid," I whimpered to my dark empty room. "Sebastian.." My tears flowed down my cheeks, "Sebastian.."

"My Lord," A smooth voice spoke as soft candle light suddenly appeared in the room. I saw my butler sitting on the edge of my bed. He gently laid a gloved hand against my wet face, "Please don't cry," Sebastian said softly, "I'm here."

I saw a look in Sebastian's crimson eyes that I'd never seen before. "Why did you come?" I found myself asking.

Sebastian sat silently as he put the candle on the bedside table. He looked at me again, "You called my name did you not, my Lord?"

"I.."

"Also," Sebastian's gentle tone made me stop and look into his hypnotic eyes. They were softly glowing. He held my face in his hands and wiped away my tears, "I couldn't stand to hear you cry."

"Sebastian," I didn't know what to say as more tears filled my eyes. I sat up and hugged the demon to me, "Please don't leave. Please..."

Sebastian hugged me to him, picked me up, and lied down under the quilt with me. He let me cuddle up to him to the point where there was no space between us.

"That wasn't an order," I stated sleepily.

"I'm aware," Sebastian petted my hair. He kept massaging my scalp until my eyes grew heavy. "Now please, my Lord, get some sleep."

"I thought you hated me," I said.

"No my Lord," Sebastian whispered against my ear, "I don't hate you at all."

"I wish things didn't have to be like this all because of the contract," I rambled against my will, "I wish you truly cared about me not just my soul..."

Sebastian made me look at him as my eyes began to fill with tears again. His eyes began to glow again as a devil's smirk appeared on his face.

His expression bruised me deeply. "Sebastian, please don't mock me with such a look," I whimpered as I began to cry.

Sebastian's expression faded. "Forgive me, my Lord," He said before he licked up one of my tears. He petted my hair more, "I didn't mean to hurt you."

I sniffled and buried myself into Sebastian's chest, "I know it's impossible, but...I just want..."

"Shh," Sebastian soothed, "You don't have to say it, my Lord." His lips were inches away from mine, "I'm fully aware of what you want."

"Sebastian," I whispered, "I want you to love me."

Sebastian smiled, "As you wish, my Lord." He moved closer.

"That wasn't an order," I repeated.

Sebastian simply smiled at me, "I'm aware." My demon finally kissed me deeply. I kissed him back as my eyes grew even heavier. "And you don't have to be afraid," Sebastian whispered to me as I drifted off to sleep, "I'm here and I always will be."

"Sebastian...I love you..."
