Alright…I haven't written anything in a while...well, not true, I wrote something about the muffin man…but not KOTOR or KOTOR2…only because I couldn't think of anything though. I was talking to a friend, and they said something funny, and I just thought of Atton. Haha…anyway, I do not own the characters or the game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic 2 that this is based on…Read, Review, and Enjoy!
I sat in the cockpit, a feeling of peace washing over me. As I felt the familiar pazaak cards shuffling in my hands, my thoughts strayed. Normally, of course, that wouldn't happen with crazy Jedi on board the ship that always seem to assume that my mind is alright to meddle in. But now they were all gone, except for me. As normal. But I don't want to be part of that Jedi club anyway…even if I am force sensitive now.
"What ever." I stood, taking the cards and putting them on the dashboard. After pacing the room a few times, I finally got bored and sat back in my chair. My short attention span was good for something. Sending me back to my chair and keeping me from tiring out.
When I sat, I grabbed at the cards, but the swoop of my hand was not accurate and the cards fell to the floor, scattering across the room. "Dang nab it." I got out of the chair and started crawling across the room, grabbing at cards. When I had crossed the room, I ran my head into the metal wall, not realizing how far I had actually gone.
"Shnickle fritz!" I stood carefully, rubbing my forehead with the palm of my hand. A few moments later, I heard a low chuckling coming from the doorway.
"Shnickle fritz? Dang nab it? You sound just like Kreia." Sarah, the exile, stood behind me laughing. "I don't believe this is how you act when we are gone. And when did you start talking like that?"
"I-I-I don't know. I hadn't noticed I'd changed." She laughed again.
"I hadn't either, until you said 'shnickle fritz'." Her smile widened as she picked up my cards from the ground and handed them to me. "Atton, I think you are becoming a true Jedi."
I could feel my expression turn horrified as my hands rose to my face and I let out a low scream.
"Please be serious, this is a good thing. It will make your training easier." She turned to walk from the room and I fell to the floor, forcing myself to make a sobbing sound. "Honestly Atton, get up." She turned back to me, pulling on my sleeve until I was standing again. "Now, stay. And be quiet." She turned to walk out again, but quickly turned back to face me when I started 'sobbing' again.
In her hands she now held a glass of water, which she proceeded to throw in my face, laughing as she did so.
"I'm melting! Melllllllting!" I crumbled slowly to the ground, shrieking as I went.
"Good-bye, Kreia-in-training." She ran from the room before I could get up from the ground.
"Shnickle fritz, how does she do that?"
"I heard that!"
I smiled as I sat back in the chair, shuffling the cards from one hand to the other.
