Hey guys so after Nick's beautiful confession yesterday, I thought I'd write a fluffy little one-shot that takes place and Nick and Jess's future wedding rehearsal dinner. It is a little speech that Nick is saying to Jess before the wedding (similar idea to the one Jim did on the Office for Pam). Tell me what you think!
FYI, Nick is saying all of this:
Hey guys, so thanks for coming up here for our wedding. I thought I'd start off tonight with a little toast for my lovely bride. I am so excited that tomorrow is finally here, because as many of you may not, because it is a bit un-manly to admit, I have been in love with Jess the whole time I've known her. This may not seem so un-manly, but you must remember that I knew Jess for almost two years before we even started dating. So, I've been looking forward to tomorrow for a long time. And I could go on forever about all the reasons I love Jess, but I think I'll keep it short and simple. Jess, there's just something about you that made me love you. Something about you that made the grumpy man in me smile every day, something that turned the lazy man who wouldn't even get out of bed to close the door into an ambitious worker, and most importantly something that turned the heart-broken, I almost don't believe in love anymore man I was when I met you into your soon to be husband. Jess, I've loved you since the moment I met you, and I am going to love you for the rest of our lives. So, with that, can we all raise our glasses to Jess!
