Frank Zhang was walking down the street from school to a diner. When he was less than a block down from the diner, he came across a strange obstacle. The street was barricaded off to all but a crew of men and women with large cameras. Frank scrunched his eyebrows together and tapped a man behind the barricade on the shoulder.
"Can I help you?" asked James Roday.
"You're James Roday," said Frank with a tone of surprise.
"Yes, I am."
"Uh, can I have your autograph?"
"Sure...?"
"Frank. Frank Zhang."
"Sure, Frank." James scrawled out his autograph and handed it to Frank. "Here you go."
"And, quiet on the set!" came the director's call, "Rolling!" Frank sat at that barrier for hours watching the filming of a long scene. "And, cut! I feel like something is missing from this scene," commented the director. He thought to himself for a moment and looked around. Noticing Frank, he walked over, "Excuse me, but I feel like it might help to add you into this scene..."
"Frank Zhang and I'm not really an actor." The director brushed off the comment and pulled Frank inside.
"Maybe a bow wielding kid would be a fun touch. Do you know how to use a bow and arrows?" Frank shot the director a confused look. "It's really quite easy." By the end of the day, Frank was a hit with the crew, who were interested in where his character would go. Frank left them his phone number and walked home, contemplating his day. Who knows, he thought, maybe I'll become famous!
