Severus' Last Thoughts
Snape felt the snake venom spread through him. He was going rapidly. Thoughts flooded his mind, about how he failed Lily, and how he failed Harry. Though he never showed it, he had grown to care for the boy. As though his thoughts had conjured him, Harry appeared above him. He looked deep into his eyes that were so much like his mother's. "Take them." He whispered, weakly motioning to the thoughts flooding out of him. He barely saw the Granger girl press a flask into Harry's hand. As Harry scooped up his thoughts, Severus grabbed him and said, "You have your mother's eyes." And before he could say anything about how he cared for the boy, Severus was gone.
