Chapter 1
"I know what I need to do." Desmond said after he awoke from his coma
"Are you alright son?" William asked
"What happened to you in there?" Shaun inquired
"I met with subject 16's subconscious. He explained to me how to wake up, which was to continue Ezio's and Altair's memories until they had nothing left to show me." Desmond said as he gave details on what he saw inside the memories
"That would make sense. Minerva spoke to you, and it confused Ezio. Over the years he finally realized that you were watching his life somehow." Shaun said
"I also talked with Jupiter of the first civilization." Desmond said as that conversation was explained
"Our next destination is the Grand Temple in upstate New York?" Rebecca asked
"Yeah, we should probably hurry though." Desmond said as a noise was heard outside the truck
"What's going on?" William asked as he saw a bright light
"Out of the bright light, appeared a 7 year old boy. He had blond hair and was wearing an orange t shirt with a red swirl, black pants and blue sandals. He was also carrying a big scroll strapped to his back.
"Ugh, my head." He mumbled
"Who are you young man?" William asked
"I'm Naruto Uzumaki." The now named Naruto said as he got into a sitting position
"What the…" Rebecca said in shock
"What is it?" Desmond asked
"My computer was on voice command. A bio popped up under Naruto Uzumaki. Naruto Uzumaki was the founder and leader of Konoha's hunter nin division as well as the mentor of the assassin brotherhood in Konoha." Rebecca said
"What!?" Desmond and William said
"If that is my bio, why didn't it mention hokage?" Naruto asked curiously
"It does mention hokage. Naruto was the teammate to the 6th hokage Sakura Haruno." Rebecca said
"Sakura chan became hokage?" Naruto asked as Rebecca nodded
The three males were dumbstruck. There was no way this kid could be Naruto Uzumaki, or at least the one Rebecca was reading about. Rebecca believed he was Naruto, but was lost as to how he got there at such a young age.
"How did you get here Naruto?" Rebecca asked
"I can explain that." Naruto said
Flashback start October 10th, Naruto's 7th birthday
"Where am I?" Naruto asked himself. He noticed that his surroundings were a huge sewer like room with a huge cage.
"You are within the seal kit. I am Kurama, the Kyuubi." A voice called out as a huge fox stepped outside the shadow inside the cage.
"You're the Kyuubi? Aren't you supposed to be dead?" Naruto asked
"No mortal man can kill a tailed beast. He used the reaper death seal to seal my entire being inside of you. You are here because I'm going to tell you of your heritage and problem." Kurama said
"You know who my parents are?" Naruto asked completely forgetting the fact that he had a tailed beast sealed within him by his idol, and said idol getting credit for killing Kurama when he only defeated him.
"Yes. They were Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, last known member of the Uzumaki clan." Kurama said
"The fourth? Uzumaki clan?" Naruto asked
"Yes. Your clan was said to be blood relatives to the Senju, co founders of Konoha, and also had a hand in the founding. The first hokage himself married Mito Uzumaki, daughter of the last clan head and village leader. They had their own village known as Uzushiogakure, or the Village Hidden by Whirling Tides in the Land of Whirlpools. They were known for their skill in fuinjutsu as well as their incredible longevity, life force, high chakra reserves. and ungodly stamina. The symbol that Konoha nin wear on their back, was your clan's symbol. The last living relatives that you have that I know of, would be Tsunade Senju, granddaughter of Mito Uzumaki. There may be others, but I don't know." Kurama said
"What happened to my clan?" Naruto asked
"They were wiped out during the era of the Shinobi wars. Some were said to have fled and lived lives outside of their homes, but either haven't made a name for themselves or don't use their clan name anymore." Kurama explained
"What about my father? Why did he seal you inside of me?" Naruto asked
"To understand that, I'll have to tell you everything. During the battle between Madara Uchiha and Hashirama Senju, Madara summoned me and used me, against my will, to fight Hashirama. Being as strong as he was, he evaded death or defeat long enough for Mito to enter the fight and use her Uzumaki fuinjutsu to seal me within her own body and becoming my first Jinchuriki. Years later, during the third hokage's reign, Mito had gotten old. To ensure Konoha's safety, an Uzumaki child was brought to Konoha to be the second Jinchuriki. Her name was Kushina Uzumaki. She became my jinchuriki after she fell in love with your father. On the night of your birth, which was kept a secret so your father's enemies never came after you, a masked man attacked. He forcibly freed me from your mother, whose sealed weakened during pregnancy, and forced me to attack Konoha. Minato saved your mother and you before attempting to go after me. I don't know too much about what happened, but he faced the masked man. During the battle he released me from his control and wounded the man. After the battle, he confronted me. During our confrontation, he used his hiraishin jutsu to teleport me out of the village. He used the reaper death seal to then seal me within you. He also placed some of his and Kushina's chakra in the seal, for what reason, I don't know. The masked man was your father's thought to be dead student, Obito Uchiha. " Kurama said
It took a while for Naruto to digest all the information. He was shocked that his father's own student attacked the village.
"Do you know if my parents loved me?" Naruto asked
"They loved you with all their heart, the moment Kushina discovered she was pregnant. They also named you after the main character in your godfather/ father's sensei's, Jiraiya of the sannin, unpopular book. It was called the Tale of the Utterly Gutsy Shinobi." Kurama said
"I have a godfather?" Naruto asked after getting over the joy of discovering that his parents loved him
"He is the village's spymaster as well as the last loyal sannin. He watches over you whenever he returns to the village." Kurama said
"How do you know all this, if you've been sealed within someone for the majority of your time in Konoha?" Naruto asked
"None of my containers knew this, but I have access to their senses." Kurama said
"That's so awesome that I'm related to 3 of the four hokage, as well as two of the legendary Sannin." Naruto said in childish joy
"I know you're happy, but we need to move this conversation along. As I said I brought you here for two reasons. To tell you of your heritage and a problem." Kurama said impatiently
"What's the problem?" Naruto asked
"Kushina Uzumaki, was an assassin. She, as well as your father, hoped that Sarutobi would tell you when you got older, but I think you need to know now. The assassins were respected before shinobi made an appearance and are now unknown. I assume there are many still in the world, but they are in the shadows. I'm positive that their are none in Konoha though." Kurama said
"How do I become an assassin?" Naruto asked
"You don't. You are either born an assassin or trained to be one. You were born one, but you don't have the skills needed to create a brotherhood within Konoha." Kurama said
"How do I gain the skills needed?" Naruto asked again
"There is a seal under your bed. It is the standard blood seal. All you have to do is smear some blood across it. Inside the seal is a scroll left behind for you by your parents. The scroll contains the Shadow Clone jutsu, Rasengan, Hiraishin, as well as chakra control exercises. There is also a secondary seal on your stomach. It will allow you to train with the best assassin in the world(AN: I know my opinion of the best assassin will probably be debated against, but remember it's just my opinion. So far he's learned from three great assassins and is being personally asked by the first civilization for help save the world. He's also learned all that those three assassins know in a fraction of the time it took for them. If none of that makes him at least a candidate for best assassin, then I don't know what does.). The function of this seal will also kill me, while leaving a tail of my chakra for healing purposes. It will replenish itself just as your chakra does. This will also allow me to be with my mates and kits in the afterlife." Kurama said as he thought of his his previous reason for living.
"That's good to hear, but who is the best assassin?" Naruto asked
"I don't know. You will meet him soon though. You will also be returned to an appropriate time after your teacher views you as master assassin level and after you are inducted into the assassin order." Kurama said
Naruto was about to ask what he meant by appropriate time, but he was soon forced out of the seal. Shrugging it off he received the scroll under his bed, strapped it to his back, placed a note on the door for the old man and stood at the ready for Kurama to activate the effect of the seal.
Unknown to both tailed beast and container, the Uchiha were getting massacred by their own genius, Itachi Uchiha.
Flashback end
"I'm William Miles, leader of the assassins, but I don't have time to be training anyone." William said
"We aren't the kind of assassins that can train you." Shaun said as he pointed to himself as well as Rebecca. Although they weren't frontline assassins, the two have killed before and were willing to do it again for the assassin order.
"I'll train him." Desmond said
"We have to go. I'm picking up Templar signatures approaching." Rebecca said as Shaun ran to the front of the truck
"The truck isn't starting." Shaun called out
"Leave the truck." William said
"What about baby?" Rebecca asked
"Grab anything important that you can carry and let's get out of here." William said as everyone grabbed something, except Naruto, and Desmond carrying Naruto as they fled the area.
