Disclaimer: Do I really have to say it? I think not.
"I am not a happy camper, Neji-niisan," I huffed, settling into my sleeping bag.
How did Neji talk me into a camping trip? Last time I checked, I hated camping!
Damn Neji and his charming ways...
"You agreed, Hinata-sama," Neji replied cooly from his own sleeping bag. We were sharing a tent, seeing as I forgot mine. I didn't even know you needed a tent for camping!
"Don't call me 'Hinata-sama', Neji-niisan," I groaned, "You know we're so much closer."
And God, how I wish we weren't related, so I wouldn't feel weird dating my cousin. Yeah, that's right. Incest! I love my cousin!
Though...since we do live together...I get to see him shirtless...
Ack! Hina, stop bein a perv! You idiot!
"I only agreed to come so we could spend time together, Neji!" I blushed.
Suddenly, Neji sat up, looking at me with analyzing eyes. I gulped. Not this again.
"Is this wrong?" He asked quietly, "This...is considered incest, after all."
"Does it really matter?" I sighed quietly, knowing he was right.
He scooted next to me as I sat up.
"Well...you're the heiress to the Hyuuga Fortune...this would ruin it for you..."
"And I'll give it up for you, Neji!" I cried, "I'm of age! I can get a job."
"I don't want you to throw your future away."
Little did my dear, dear Neji know that if worse came to worse, I'd give my title to Hanabi in a heartbeat.
"You are my future," I replied, kissing his cheek and resting my head against his shoulder in the darkness of the tent.
He sighed. "Let's...let's not talk about it now."
"Hai, Neji-niisan."
"Ah! You still call me that," He smiled, "At the age of twenty-one, you still call me 'big brother'. Now I really feel weird."
"Sorry," I giggled aiming for another kiss at his cheek. He deliberately moved, so our lips met. He smirked against my mouth.
"Hinata..." He whispered, lips still pressed onto mine.
I swear, if he says "Hinata-sama" I'm going to kick him... The Inner Me thought.
"...Hime..."
He sure knows how to charm a girl, I thought.
"Neji," I said quietly, "I love you."
"And I love you, hime."
5 YEARS LATER!
The organ music was playing loudly. I clutched my bouquet of lilacs close to my stomach, being careful not to crease my dress.
The wedding planner for me to go. The large oak wood doors spread open as I walked down the aisle beside the man who was to give me away.
The veil shielded people from seeing my tomato red face. Many were a little uncomfortable, knowing who was under the veil, and who the groom was. Others, very few, might I add, were grinning and smiling like no tomorrow. (Cough, Naruto, cough.) Asuma -- God forbid my father being content with my decisions -- placed my hand in Neji's, officially giving me away.
Soon it was time to say the 'I do'.
"I do." Neji's 'I do' was quick, firm, and confident.
"And do you, Hyuuga Hinata," The priest stumbled on my name, uncomfortable with the incest thing, "Take Hyuuga Neji to be your lawfully wedded husband, till death --"
In my haste to say 'I do', I loudly interrupted him. "I-I do!" I blurted.
Neji chuckled, casting a small smile meant only for me.
"I now pronounce you man and wife. You may kiss the bride."
Neji leaned into me as I leaned forward on the tips of my toes.
His lips were soft and warm. His hands, on my waist, held me lovingly.
The kiss, so short, yet so heavenly, was like Heaven on Earth. Just like Neji.
This kiss sealed our future. Together.
Author's Note: First NejiHina oneshot! So how'd I do? I think it was a bit cheesy...
