wont update for a month or two. I know hold at bay your tears, the reason?
Spanish. Im real sorry for the delay with my stories, but still, well enjoy
this one little story before I vanish for a while.
ROCKSLIDE
BY JARZARD
The hard gravely path was like a cheese grater to the corvet's tires and the deep blue sheen of its paint only dampened by the slight cover of dust kicked up by the road.
Ash Ketchum was returning to his home town of Pallet after two more long years on the road after the Hoen League, his blue-black hair bouncing slightly in rhythm to the music, which happened to be in rhythm to the sports car's bouncing. He was lonely, its true. Misty had stayed with him through thick, thin and everything in-between, currently, she snoozed in the passenger side the slight smile on her face was reassuring to Ash, even if the drool about to drip on his seat wasn't.
Pealing his eyes away from the road for a minute Ash reached over to wake her up, intent on saving the new seats, however he never made it, for the rockslide woke her first.

Misty was scared, she had never been this scared in her entire life. Many things flashed through her mind as the silence surrounded her, pokemon- fishing-flying-driving-training-laughing-joking-walking-....Ash....
So many things she thought her mind wouldn't take it all in, but then again it already had. It was her past. It was sad at first, filled with tragedy and mistakes, death and despair. Her early life was now much worse when she understood what had been going on. The middle of her life had been better, friends who cared, training pokemon, shopping when they could afford it, it was wonderful. But it was really the last part that was her favorite, traveling, winning, prizes, fame, everything she had always wanted was here, all she had left was to tell Ash how much she loved him, but her mind didn't go to that part. Odd, she thought as her mind was embraced by unconsciousness.

Ash didn't know how this one was going to turn out, he really didn't. The small ledge was going to come up, REALLY close, REALLY soon. It would probably save their lives though, so he didn't complain. The impact had been harsh as the speeding car had hit the rockslide, or more aptly, the river of rolling rocks. The cliff edge had been steep and going sixty miles an hour hadn't helped any. Now all he could do was wait for the really hard piece of ground to kiss him goodnight.

The stars twinkled merrily, uncaringly, mockingly.
With at least one broken arm all Ash could do was sit on the cracked ledge and hold Misty close praying for a miracle. The drop wasn't a particularly long one, forty feet or so, but it was the landing that made him stop. Jagged teeth-like rock stuck up from the ground promising a very painful landing you see.
Sighing he snuggled closer to Misty hopping for someway to save her, he didn't know why but that was the only thing on his mind.
Smiling he saw the last star disappear from view, and dawn quickly followed. Shaking his head Ash Ketchum knew what he had to do, it had been two days since they had been stranded on this forsaken ledge. He could now barely move.
Grunting Ash positioned the comatose Misty infront of him and fell backwards. Smiling he hit the rocks and the world around him was gone.

Ash and Misty's condition was critical. They had been found mere hours before by a lost bug catcher. Now in the Viridian Hospital Emergency Room, the world went by without their noticing. Either one could die, either one could live, one could die and the other could live. Who knows? Not me.
