DISCLAIMER: Nintendo owns the "The Legend of Zelda" franchise. I do not... and I don't know why you would think that.

This is the first file I read... considering we're in 4046 HSY, it must've been a REALLY long time ago...

The Hylian Royal Archives
Entry #XVII: 2033 HSY – 2162 HSY

After Zant's Twilight Invasion, there was an era of peace. Due to the death of Ganondorf and Zant, all the monsters who still roamed the land were captured, interrogated, and then sealed into the Bound Chest with the new Picori Blade, with the exception of the Bulbins, who disappeared into extinction. The Hero chosen by the Gods, Link, was buried with his beloved blade, the Master Sword, a relic of Hyrule which was lost years after the traitorous Ganondorf was sealed away into the Twilight Realm for planning to take over Hyrule. The blade was taken out and replaced with a replica, with the original Blade of Evil's Bane being put into a new hilt carried down from the heavens by the Picori. In honor of this new blade and the era of peace Hyrule entered, the citizens started to hold an annual event called the Picori Festival to celebrate the Picori's brave actions. Hyrule Castle had been destroyed, and so a new one had been built, which was radically different than its predecessor. Castle Town had also been badly damaged, and so had to be vastly remodeled. Then, Hyrule entered an era of peace. The denizens of Castle Town continued to hold the Picori Festival every year under the peaceful reign of King Gustaf, illegitimate child of long- dead Queen Zelda and an Ordonian named Lok. But then, all went to chaos when the Wind Tribe vanished in 2041 HSY. Because they were his favorite people, King Gustaf felt empty, with no will to live. He fell quite ill, and died soon after. Hyrule was in mourning, and it was left quite weak. With the coronation of King Hueder, the kingdom entered a passive time. It was not joyous, but it existed. The Picori Festival was cancelled. And so, Hyrule entered the Dark Ages. King Hueder married his wife, Queen Nedufu, and had their first child, Guythen. The kingdom rejoiced at this momentous occasion, and, in 2078 HSY, the kingdom held the Royal Feast in honour of the newborn prince. The kingdom entered another, albeit short era of peace which was shattered with the assassination of King Hueder in 2088 HSY. With Prince Guythen too young to take the throne, and Queen Nedufu in hysterics with her second child, Hyrule went under a militaristic rule for 6 years. With the coming of age of Prince Guythen, in 2094 HSY, the Hylian Royal Family was restored to power. Nedufu's second child, Ludipik, was born in 2097 HSY, with King Guythen being 19. However, Nedufu was taken in childbirth, and Ludipik died of a disease not much later. As such, Guythen now owned all the possessions of the Royal Family, and all of Hyrule. At hearing this, his mind snapped, and he went mad with power. He forced a poor chambermaid, Estelru, to become his wife. Not much later, Estelru become pregnant with their first child, Daltus. Not long after his birth in 2137 HSY, the kingdom went into an uproar, and rebelled. The castle was infiltrated, and Guythen publically executed in 2140 HSY, at age 62. With this, Estelru became Queen of Hyrule, and brought back the now-ancient Picori Festival. She was a kind, compassionate queen who was loved by her people. However, as soon as her son, Daltus, came of age in 2153, she stepped down and allowed her son the throne. Then, in 2162 HSY, the conflict known only as the Opening of the Bound Chest began.
