Things have been kinda rough around here with what happened to Johnny and Dally. Ponyboy took it pretty hard. I guess him and Johnny were better friends than I thought. And Ponyboy saw Dally get shot. That's not something a guy his age should ever see, but you see all kinds of things if you're a greaser. I never shoulda let him go out in the rumble with the rest of us, he definitely didn't look so good that night . He did pretty well when we went into court though, didn't even bat an eye. Sometimes I wonder what makes him want to stick with us. I guess he just loves us. Maybe even Darry. I love Ponyboy, don't know what I would do without him. Must be kinda tough for him without Mom and Dad, yet somehow he manages to cope, He's tough and tuff at the same time. Makes for great kid brother and a pretty good greaser. Like I said, I love that kid. You gotta love Ponyboy. He's a trooper.
