The following is just a short piece I wrote after I got some ideas. Don't expect it to affect the Canon story in any way.
Leaving it Behind
The last traces of the sun faded away, as the evening's orange glow slowly became purple. The wind blew slightly and the atmosphere felt really dense. Close to the woods, a cabin was placed. It was made with thick wooden planks and was covered in a orangeish paint. A fox went through the door, carrying a small bag.
His expression was harsh reflecting the state of his heart. It was void, tired and just wanted to disappear. But instead he observed the cabin one last time. And a tear fell from his eye as the good memories of the past and the knowledge of his errors came to his mind
"I have failed... again" he muttered as he got on his bike. And he started pedaling. First on leg. Then the other. And he did it again, everytime a lil' faster as if he could escape from his feelings if he was fast enough.
And suddenly, the place he thought would be his home started burning. The flames glowed in the night as they consumed the cabin, and hopefully the feelings linked to it. And a quick thought flashed in the fox's mind:
"Maybe next time, he should be inside the cabin..."
