Birth of the hidden truth!

...

A new life in Great Lakes City was like a new chapter to Ronnie Anne. The Hispanic tomboy would always wake up every morning to be greeted by chaos of the entire Casagrande apartment.

Ronalda would always have difficulty adjusting life with her extended family ever since she, Bobby, and their mother had to move here from Royal Woods. The reason why all this happen was because Maria just couldn't stand to leave her two children alone every time she would have to work late as a nurse ever since she and her husband were divorced. As if it's like heaven forbids the Hispanic girl to have peace and quietness much as the white haired boy, who she calls Lame-O, and that her family would always mistake them as a couple...which they are NOT!

But that was then, since now that Bobby has a job to work at his grandfather's bodega store and that he and his girlfriend, who would always call him her Boo boo bear, would only be apart for a year, but soon they will graduate college in this city together.

Plus, Ronnie Anne did come to her senses that it was pleasant to become part of a big loving family and that she would have a room for her own and have a fire escape, but also still need a lock for the bathroom door. She would have to avoid being fed too much by her grandmother, not to take any cheap advice from her grandfather, not wanting to have too much girly fashion or make up from her cousin Carlota, and would always be facing the slobbery licks from Lalo the family dog. Plus, people do say that living in the city was fun, but in reality, was really hard with lots of noises and crowded thing, blah blah blah!

"Agh! Shut up alarm!" Ronalda slammed the alarm clock into a silent mode. It was now 8:35am. She hopped out of her bed and went out of her room where everyday chaos would always be appearing. The family have been going around the hallways getting ready for their day.

"Frida dear, please put this in the dining table." Rosa the family cook asked her daughter in law.

"Certainly Mama." The photographic mother nodded while placing the pot of oatmeal on the table along with the extended gourmet breakfast. Of course Frida Puga would always love to take pictures of her family to treasure forever, she would even take a picture of the table of foods. Of course she would be crying while running off afterwards while she failed to noticed the family dog Lalo coming in to eat up the plate of freshly stacked waffles.

"Roberto, have you checked the register before you left the bodega last night?" Hector the store gossiper asked.

"Sure thing grandpa. Plus, I organized the money so that the presidents would face the same way." The Santiago boy answered.

"Ah, I gotta say well done, mijo." The elderly patriarch beamed. As if that's where Bobby would get get this 'store stuff' from.

"Did you know that the explorer Peter Frenchmen was trapped under the avalanche while he was on expectation. But he has escaped from death by the year of 1926." The Casagrande father, Carlos, walks into the hallways while reading his college history book.

"Na, na! Can't catch me!" The parrot Sergio squawked while carrying the photo of Bobby's girlfriend, Lori, while Carlino was giving chase.

"Give it back you estűpido pájaro!" The 6 year old shouted. "I need that to be freshening up my charms in case mí a'moré comes to visit one day!" Of course the boy would have to know that his love for someone older than him would only lead to a foolish thing.

But while chasing after the bird, he didn't noticed that he caused his father to trip and bump into the wall after he kept staring at his history book.

"Super CJ, on the way for breakfast!" The 13 year old down syndrome boy then pretends to fly all the way to the kitchen with his youngest little brother, Carlitos, was following suit while of course mimicking. Plus the family do have to help Carlos Jr more often with various things.

"Oh dios mio, I just bought myself this limited addition sparkling rainbow dress along with glittery lip gloss!" Carlota, the only Casagrande daugther, smiled with glee. "If only me and Ronnie Anne could try them together, then it would be more fun."

Of course the 17 year old Hispanic would knew that it would never happen since Ronalda would rather be sticking to being a like a tough tomboy figure. Heck, she would never even try to control herself on her wonders of having her cousin try on new outfits or hairstyles during the time when they would have girl advice and since that Ronnie Anne was like the only sister to her.

Ronalda rolled her eyes after hearing this from her older cousin. The 11 year old stepped into the hallway bracing herself for another day. "Ah, there you are Ronalda." Rosa smiled. "You're just in time for breakfast, mija."

"Thanks. I would always be on time, Abeuala." The Santiago girl nodded before entering to the kitchen to join her family for breakfest. Ronnie Anne was served with a plate of every breakfest gorment that she couldn't even remember. Rosa would never let anyone skip out of eating her meals or to be late. At any minute of goofing off, each family member would get an angry earful response from her.

Ronalda would often being careful not to be ending up in a stomach ache every time she couldn't resist eating up all the goods, though the elderly matriarch would always be happy to have her more food and would know most healing remedies upon her sleeve. Just once Ronalda would like to quickly cook up for her own family since she's like the responsible one of the family just to give her grandmother a break someday.

The day was never slow as it was as Bobby was already opening up the bodega that would always be located and connected beside the apartment. Plus, Mrs. Santiago would never be late for her double shifts at the hospital. The nurse would be praying to have her family watching over her children to be in their safe hands, though her daughter doesn't care to be left alone.

Ronnie Anne was already ready for the day, as in shredding her skateboard at the skating rink of the city. It was a bright sunny day in the early July as summer would always be a perfect time for her to be unleashing her stunts and to have two months off of school.

Finally, the place where she would be doing her main ability. Ronalda standing while staring at the huge wide details while the warm breeze swifts pass her tan skin. She took a deep breath with a bravery look on her face. "Alright, this kick flip stunt is now officially a-go!" She spoken to herself.

She placed her foot on a skateboard and pushed herself forward by one foot on the pavement ground. She sipped downward the rink of the public park like riding on a giant bowl before she zoomed upward feeling the cool breeze. She soon did her pose in the air before she landed her skateboard on the metal pole of the stairs then skated downward all the way back to the rink causing a SKEEEE noise. Ronnie Anne had wished that the kids would be here early to see her showing off her awesome moves right now.

The Hispanic girl made it to the other side of the rink to do a kickflip skill in front of the sun to make her like a shaded silhouette. She did a twist on her board of shred before she does a final landing on the ground. The 11 year old hopped back on the ground before kicking up her skateboard in her hand.

She would be taking a break to be sitting on a bench while strolling onwards with her hand pin the pocket of her purple hoodie.

"Say you. That was pretty slick." Said a young female voice.

"Hmm?" Ronalda turned and saw three kids that were all the same age of her. We're they there the whole time?

One of them was a short boy with big messy brown hair, Caucasian skin tone while wearing a yellow and white stripped shirt, blue shorts, and red clogs. The other was another boy who is an African American with a checked backwards cap while wearing a red jacket, along with a pink shirt, grey shorts, and white shoes. The other was a tall girl in Caucasian skin with blonde hair, wearing a blue hoodie, navy blue jeans, and pink shoes.

Ronnie Anne then quickly spoke to the kids. "Urm, thanks."

"We've never seen you around here before. You new here?" The tall girl asked.

"Yeah. I just moved here with my mom and brother a few months ago so that we could live with our family." Ronnie Anne respond.

"Really? Cool!" The African American boy said. "I'm Casey. This is Sameer, and that's Nikki."

"Awesome names." The Hispanic girl said before she introduced herself. "The name is Ronalda Santiago, but call me Ronnie Anne. So you guys usually come here often?"

"Yep. We happen to be the group of stunts and all. You wanna join us?" Sammer asked.

"Sure, I'd be happy to." Ronnie Anne nodded. At least now this girl finally had some new friends in this city she calls a new home.

The day had just appeared to be great for Ronalda as she spend the whole dawn of hanging out with the friendly group. It was certainly a new chapter for the tomboy in 11 years of age. Back in Royal Woods she would barely make any friends as most kids see her as a brute and that they would always be afraid of her, which Ronalda has no problem with it since she wanted to be a tough girl. Until then when she met a boy about her same age and has snow white hair. She seem to be falling for him, but being a tomboy herself, she wanted to prevent it somehow. So the only way to get his attention was by bullying him, and she did. It has been going on for months, until later on they have gotten along when his 10 sisters forced him to give her his charms.

Right now as she had just started her life in Great Lakes City, she had already made new friends that quick. She was starting to like this as well as fitting in. The time went by quickly as it was now 7:43pm. As they were having a conversation, Sameer would mention that was kinda weird that some person would be coming from a small town or a country and would be starting a new life in a city, which then creates a problem to Ronnie Anne.

She did come from a small town. And she did just moved here to this state. What if they would reject her out of the group when they found out about this? She just made good friends here and could create a part of her new life. She can't lose that. Plus, the only way to protect that is if she would...lie!

"So Ronnie Anne, where do you used to live before you moved here?" Nikkei asked the Hispanic girl which snapped her out of her thoughts.

"Oh...um...I uh...," she tries to think of a good name of a big city. She felt that it is best to never let the kids know that she came from Royal Woods if she wants to stay being their friends. "Up...town..., Uptown! Yeah Uptown. It was very big city filled with lots of big city things like here in Great Lakes City. So yeah." Ronalda spoken a lie. And a lie that she'll keep telling them.

Why would she do that? How could she have think of a lie like that? She should know that a friend true enough should never hide the truth from them, but she just had to do a foolish thing during the birth of their friendship.

"Sweet. Uptown sounds awesome." Casey said while finishing his hot dog. The kids were just relaxing by the big city fountain.

"Man, is it getting late already?" Nikki asked looking up at dark blue skies as the sun was setting at the end of the day.

The Santiago girl frantically takes notice of it as she knew she had so hurry back home so that she can't miss dinner that her grandmother had just cook, unless if she wants to get an angry earful from Rosa. She got up and raced herself back home while waving to her friends. "I have to go. It was nice meeting you guys. See y'all next time then!" She called out to them before they waved back to her.

Yep. New life! New home! And new friends, which she would never know how long it would take for her deceiving lie to last for.

The End!

And Viola! Pretty great story don't you think? Living a lifetime and involve new chapters and new events as such until the next. It's the way that the Lord has brought to us. Plus, some folks should say that it docent matter where you come from when it comes to new friendships. Anyway, I hope you all enjoy. Peace out!
