I was left alone just like always no one would ever want me. I slid down the wall and cried letting out all of the pent up emotions inside of me. Robin, my true love amd soulate had left me all because his supposedly dead wife was back and he found out I had killed her. I didn't remember her, I didnt remember the many people I had killed, I was the reason Roaland grew up without a mother and I hated myself for it. Ihad ruined the little boy's happiness.
But the way Robin had reacted truly hurt me. I know I had killed his wife but the way his eyes, the eyes that once held pure adoration for me were filled with pure hatred and disgust, it made me question whether he had ever truly loved me
That had been 4 years ago today, the rejection I had received no longer bothered me. My son , my family had all turned on me, the town wouldn't stop giving me hateful glares, that is when I finally decided to up and leave, to start over where no one knew about my past, no one would judge me on my life choices.
I felt strong arms going around my waist pulling me away from my thoughts, into a safe and calming atmosphere.
