Just another warm day in Besaid. Rikku, wearing here bikini, lying on the beach. Trying to look as sexy as ever. Trying way too hard; and not knowing that most of the blitzball team there talked about what a slut she was. Though they didn't know her. When she wasn't trying to flaunt it, she was a great girl! Even Auron thought so. Though of course he would never be more than friends with her. Though someone in the team always seemed to envy Rikku. For her confidence, her looks, her fighting skills.
Yuna sat on the wall, staring out to sea, Tidus sitting himself next to her. That guy really got on her nerves at times. Sure he was a good guardian, but he was psyched up by sins powers. He would tell random stories about him and Auron, back 1000 years ago, and try to flirt with her 24/7. He was as bad as Rikku with the blitzball team! Talking about blitzball, the team slowly walked down to the beach. Talking among themselves. Tidus got up and left Yuna sitting on the wall. He knew to leave her when she was thinking like that. She gazed into space; neither Tidus nor Yuna had said a word to each other.
Rikku lay on the beach. The blitzball team near by, throwing the ball to each other on the sand. After getting sand in her eyes by the ball numerous times she got up and walked over to Yuna on the wall.
"Hi Yunie!" she said. Yuna snapped out of her daze.
"Err, hey Rikku" Yuna answered.
"How's it going?" Rikku asked cheerfully. Yuna sighed, if only she knew Yuna thought to herself.
"Fine thanks" She answered
"Doesn't sound it" Rikku replied, using her serious voice, the one she only used on rare occasions.
"It's nothing…" Yuna answered, trying to convince both of them "…honestly" she finished.
"You sure?" Rikku asked, not wanting her cousin to be upset. She reached for Yuna's hand and held it. At this, Yuna couldn't help but blush, she tried to hide it.
"You want to go inside? It's boiling out here!"
"Sure!" Rikku said, hopping of the wall they were both sitting on. Glad to see her cousin smiling again. She grabbed hold of her hand again when Yuna was standing up.
"So, Yuine, where to?" Rikku asked. Yuna wanted to go back to the place they were staying, she wasn't feeling to great.
"Sure!" Rikku smiled. Yuna loved the way she could always be so happy
The two girls made their way up the beach, away from the noisy blitzball team
"Yuine…I…" Rikku began.
"What Rikku?" Yuna asked, worried about her cousin
"Nothing, it's ok" Rikku smiled, but Yuna could tell it was fake. She hugged the thief
"You sure your ok? What's bothering you?" Yuna asked, her arms still around Rikku
"Just recently, I've been really worried about you, I care about you so much, more than you know, and…" Rikku trailed off and looked up at Yuna
"More than I know?" Yuna asked
"Probably…" Rikku blushed
"I doubt it" Yuna sighed, but Rikku had heard her.
Tidus then ran up to the two girls
"Hey guys!" he smiled, not realising he had interrupted anything. Yuna and Rikku both exchanged a frustrated look.
"Hey" Yuna said
"What you two up to?" he asked
"Just gonna go find somewhere to sit down, it's getting really hot out there" Rikku answered.
"Yuna, you ok?" he asked, concerned. His over the top caring really got on her nerves.
"I'm fine, honestly"
"Have some of this" he said, hading the summoner a bottle of water
"Tidus, I'm ok" she protested
"Please?" he said, "You don't look do great" Though she ignored him, and walked off to catch up with Rikku who was walking ahead. Tidus sighed and caught up with her.
