DISCLAIMER: I wish I owned Full House and it's characters but sadly I don't, and If I did, John stamos would so be mine!
A/N: Hi! Okay, first, I wanna give a big thanks to Remo Con and Sorceress of the Dark Arts! Especially Remo Con, who retyped the whole things for me (my computer doesn't have word!). And second, I want you to review, you see, this story is much better than Tragedy at the Tanners, I took your comments to heart, and so, here's the outcome, Secrecy!
"Michelle," Steph called to me. "It's time for school and I'm gonna be late! Hurry up in there!" What's up with her lately? Steph wondered silently.
"Coming Steph!" I yelled back, walking carefully down the stairs. For a moment my head spun. I gripped the railing and the feeling passed.
"What took you so long, Michelle, you spent ages in the bathroom, yesterday too!" Stephanie chided. "I don't know what's up with you lately but it had better be good, I hate being late!" It had better be good? I thought sadly. By good you mean bad, and you have no idea.
"Well?" Stephanie prompted as she opened the door and strode out with me trailing behind miserably. I looked at her. Oh, she wanted me to answer. What was I supposed to say?
"I, I haven't been feeling to good lately," well that was the truth, at least part of it. Stephanie seemed satisfied.
"Sure you should go to school?" she asked me, not really paying attention.
"Yeah," I answered. She wasn't even listening anymore. Stephanie got in the driver's side and I got in the passengers. The whole way to school neither of us spoke. Me too lost in my thoughts and her too absorbed in the radio.
Stephanie dropped me off at the Junior High and drove away. My friend Teddy met me at the steps.
"Hey!" he said cheerfully. I didn't respond, just looked off into the school, still thinking about…
"Are you all right?" Teddy asked curiously, looking into my face. I blushed and panicked.
"Y-yeah, fine," I stammered. "Just feeling a little, spacey, today."
"Liar," Teddy snapped. It was my turn to stare. "I've known you long enough to know when you're lying and now you are. Come on, Shellie, you can trust me."
"I can't tell you," I said, looking away, tears pricking my eyes. "Not yet." Teddy softened.
"Okay," he said quietly. "I understand. But if you need someone to talk to, I'm always here. You know that."
"I do," I told him, smiling a little.
"Well come on," he said cheerfully, the serious air around us evaporating. "Let's not be late to class…again!" I chuckled and followed him inside.
I somehow managed to get through school, but by then Teddy was beyond wanting to respect my privacy.
"Michelle," he said firmly as everyone else left. He pulled me away. "You need to tell me whatever's bothering you now. I've never seen you do so badly in school before. Please, it's for you own good." My lower lip trembled and I burst into tears. Shocked, Teddy put his arms around me and waited as I sobbed. Finally the tears were nearly gone. I hiccuped once and then said, very, very quietly.
"I'm, I'm, Teddy I'm pregnant!"
"Oh," he said faintly. I looked at him and didn't like what I saw. Clearly he didn't want to deal with this and I wouldn't make him.
"I guess I'll go now," I said sorrowfully. "Good-bye Teddy." He grabbed my arm as I turned away.
"Michelle, wait. I was just a little surprised," he sounded sincere. "How did this happen?" The school bell rang again and Stephanie pulled up by the curb.
"Are you coming?" she yelled to me. I looked back at Teddy.
"I'll call you tonight," I promised.
"You'd better!" he yelled as I jogged to the car.
A/N: R&R, No flames please, it's to warm to heat the house!
