Rosalie ran through the forest, every part of her being was invested int the hunt. This deer kept making quick turns and its games were growing tiresome. She decided to go full speed so she was promptly in front of the great deer. His antlers were no match for her and she used them to hold as she snapped his neck.

Instinct taking over she was about to help satiate her thirst when she heard a ferocious roar.

That stunted her.

Then she smelt it, the delicious scent of blood. Human blood. How had she missed it before? It was so strong her desire for it pulled her to it, she couldn't control herself.

Maybe, she could break her 'vegetarian' diet just this once. The smell came closer and soon she was behind a bear.

He was growling and clawing, attacking a human. Rosalie jumped on his back and snapped his neck, he tried to fight but, it was a waisted effort.

Leaving the bear behind she focused on her real prey, ready for her one sin in her goody goody vampire life.

But as she looked at the human, her thoughts stopped.

He slumped against a rock wall, and his eyes shown with curious fear. He was big, and strong. Obviously handsome. But, that wasn't what made her stop in her tracks. It was his curly hair and dimples, even though he was grimacing through pain she could tell he had profound dimples, and had the kind of smile that lit up a whole room. The kind of face that promised laughter and joy.

It reminding her of her friend Vera's son, back in her human life. Yet, this wasn't a baby, it was a man. A man who despite being covered in blood, was still beautiful.

She wanted the happiness that his face promised, she wanted to save him, not kill him. But she also knew she didn't have the self control to not kill him she hit him. So she needed to get him to Carlisle, and fast.

"It's ok." Her voice came out melodic and calming, despite the stress she felt. "I won't hurt you, I'm going to help you." Her enchanting voice made him smile a bit. His smile was like sunshine in her dark life.

"I must be dying, because your angel." He laughed at that, and looked at her with sad adoration.

"Trust me I'm no angel." She answered coldly, and with that she swept the close to death man up into her arms.
