Missing you;

It was a beautiful night. quiet, serene, peaceful. The kind of night that was perfect for sitting on the rooftop, enjoying the warm summer night breeze, thinking of everything and anything. The kind that made you want to catch firefly's only to let them go, watching in admiration as they quickly flew towards the open sky, lighting the way beautifully, feeling the cool grass underneath your bare feet. Or just sitting on a blanket under a tree star gazing with your significant other, enjoying each others company.

All those things sounded nice, Max thought. He would have loved to spend his night like that with his girlfriend cherry, she would have loved it. Instead he was left staring at his ceiling with a mix of frustration and sadness. Cherry was visiting her aunt in Texas for two weeks and max was missing her terribly.

Finally after much tossing and turning, max climbed out of bed with a sigh. he knew sleep wouldn't come easy tonight and instead decided to pace in front of his bed. cherry had been gone for a week and a half and even though they spoke frequently, it did nothing to ease the ache in his heart. He longed to run his fingers through her silky hair, cradle her in his lap while he buried his nose in her neck and breathed in her sweet vanilla and lavender scent, kiss those soft plump lips that drove him wild. Simply put max wanted her there with him in his arms now.

He quickly drew his phone out of his pocket and dialed her number, anxious to hear her voice. He didn't care that it was passed midnight or that she was most likely asleep. But max was soon disappointed when after the fifth ring the call went straight to voice mail. He chucked his phone at his pillow with a growl, throwing himself face first on his bed. 'Why the hell didn't she answer her phone?! didn't she miss him too?' max thought upset.

With a heavy heart he decided he needed to do something to take his mind of his girlfriend. Besides there were only a couple days left and he could finally have his girl back with him. He could survive that long right? with that in mind he reached over, plugged in his headphones and scrolled to a random playlist, letting the songs wash over him finally drifting off to sleep,dreams filled with the cute blonde.

The next morning sunlight lit his room wonderfully, but he was too warm and cozy in his bed refusing to open his eyes, it wasn't until he heard a soft sigh besides him that his eyelids flew open, only then realizing that someone was snuggling against his back ,their arms wrapped around his waist a sweet aroma filling the room. quickly turning to look behind him, he was met with a head full of soft blonde curls.

"Morning sleepy head" cherry whispered.

"Cherry?!"

"The one and only sweetheart" cherry replied giggling.

Wasting no time max quickly threw her into his arms setting her on his lap, nuzzling her neck inhaling in her scent. 'oh god, how he missed her.' max thought as he adorned her face with kisses. He couldn't believe she was actually there with him! he pulled back a bit. "cherry what are you doing here? why didn't you tell me you where coming?" He shook his head and softly tapped her nose, "never mind it doesn't matter I'm just glad your here with me baby I missed you so much!"

Cherry sighed sadly,"I missed you too baby, I couldn't go another day without seeing you so I begged my parents to let me come home early, they didn't want to at first but they eventually caved in. I arrived last night and broke in through your window."

"Don't ever let us go that long without seeing each other cherry, promise me" max kissed her forehead, " I was going crazy without you"

" Never again baby" Cherry promised.

They both laid back down cuddling for the rest of the morning,enjoying each others presence. Soon after both fell into a blissful sleep.
