And The Truth shall Break Us Apart

Summary: In the old Alien spaceship Dipper unknowingly came in contact with something. Now at the age of 35, weird thing's keep happening around him and those weird thing's end up uncovering a secret his own sister kept from him for 23 years.

I do not own Gravity Falls.

Enjoy!

Twelve-year-old, Dipper Pines screamed for his dear life.

The only thing that was keeping him from plunging to his death was none other than a faulty gravity gun, that was just barely hanging onto an alien prison pod that was taken, his unconscious Uncle to who know where.

To think his day started out so normally and now he was doing this?

Fearing that the pod would reach space or whatever it was entering, he managed to reverse the gravity gun, causing quiet a big malfunction in the pod's software.

He did not know that the pod was not just a prison pod but it also housed something that had been in hibernation, not only did his actions cause it to wake up but it caused the pod to lose the ability to keep it contained.

Dipper never saw it coming but he certain did feel a stab at the back of his neck making him go "OW!"

Then the pod started dipping and began to fall from the sky.

He didn't know how long he had been screaming for as he began to fall, he could only pray that he and his uncle lived after the crash, with his eyes closed he did not notice the weird ruins appear on his skin to protect him and the person he wished to protect.

When they finally crashed, he and his Uncle did not die but his victory was short lived when another prison pod showed up, after him.

It was by far the bravest moment of his life, standing up for his uncle against something from out of space.

He was brave not scared and because of that, the pod found him not to be a no threat, he mentally and fiscally collapsed, the praise from the only person he could relate with, only made the moment all the sweeter.

For once in his life, he felt like he had a higher purpose and could do anything and accepted his uncle's offer while the blood was still rush to his head.

Back then he had no idea of the shear roller-coaster that he would experience on the same day or how it would shackle him.

Now 23 years had passed since that fateful day.

23 years, filled with dissatisfaction.

As promised, he decided to stay with Mabel instead of going on adventures with his Uncle and truly feel alive.

Instead of doing what he loved, he was right beside Mabel side as both of them entered Highschool, he was by her side as they want through their weird awkward teen years, if Mabel needed help, he would be at her back and call.

Experiencing Weirdmageddon had him obsessed with never leaving Mabel side.

People called him a Sis-con in Highschool, but if they experienced what he experienced, they would be even more obsessed with their own sibling then he was.

In high school he did not have much going on, except for hanging out with weird people following up on weirdo stories.

He sacrificed a lot for Mabel and made sure that her life went smoothly to the point she finally landed an actual boyfriend name Ted.

Ted, did not like him and he did not like him, but he sucked it up for his sister, hoping that one day she would outgrow him.

What scared him was that she never did.

When they both graduated, she was still dating him and he had successful squeezed his way in-between them.

With his many degrees, he never actually made his own Television show just so that he could explore the unknown like he wished as a child because that meant traveling away from Mabel.

So, he had to restrict himself to being one of the nerds behind the weather report, at least he was constantly on the lookout for any abominates in the weather.

Man, he hated his job.

He wanted to be out there exploring the world.

And while he was busy hating his job both Mabel and Ted drew closer.

It was a terrible day for him when Ted got down on one knee and proposed to his own sister.

He had fiscally shouted very loudly "NO!"

He realised that he had actually said that out loud and when everybody turned to look at him, he ran, his sister ran after him.

He didn't want Ted to be family, the guy fiscally hated his guts and made him feel like trash every day wither Mabel was in or out of the room.

It was one of the few times, he actually maned up and told his sister what was on his mind.

And Mabel was actually shocked to hear that he hated Ted.

However she was in too deep.

Or maybe she was so desperate to believe nothing was wrong.

Guys still ran from her and Ted was the only one who stuck around.

She was getting to that age where she expected to marry and have children.

Mabel did not seem to realise, her own brother had sacrificed his own life just so that she could get to this point.

She was selfish and made him promise that he would try to get along with Ted.

Now even a 18 years down the line, he still despised Ted.

He was now 35, living in a single apart near where Mabel family was.

He was going to be middle aged and he had nothing to show for it.

Only had a job.

His hair was a mess and his chin had been poorly shaved, his eyes showed bags under his eyes and he was clearly letting himself go.

If Weirdmageddon hadn't have happened, then who knows how awesome his life would be.

Mabel would have eventually grown out of her childish rut and they could finally patched things up.

But now the only accomplishment to his name was coming up with conspiracy theories for the internet.

Sometimes, he wished he could go back and stop the interdimensional rift from breaking or stop Mabel from taking the wrong backpack.

As he walked down the street, he did not know that all the electronics that he walked passed suddenly started displaying weird symbols, people either passed out or stood with a mindless look on their faces, when he passed by.

He caused cars to revert back from old to new, even the weather was changing as well with each step.

You could say he became a weird emitter, but he was too deep in thought to notice what he was causing and walked back to his sad and lonely apartment.

He walked up the stairs and took out his key's, before putting them in the keyhole that was on the knob to a blue door that said '295' on it.

The door open but instead of his old empty living room, he was stunned to find his twin sister Mabel in the apartment.

Mabel had changed over the years, she became more mature and shapely looking in her womanhood, she wore a bright rainbow coloured cardigan and a blue skirt and combat boots.

Oh, that's right she had a copy of his keys.

"Hey, brother" Mabel said, awkwardly.

"Oh, hey, Mabel" He said, "I didn't know you were coming over today." He hadn't checked his calendar in how long? "Where's Ted? Or Sophia?"

At least he liked his Mabel little girl, although he barely saw him.

And you know what?

He was pretty much done.

Something in his eyes must have conveyed that as he walked slowly in and he immediately want to the fridge to get some beer.

He never know that one day he would be like his Uncle Stanley.

"Oh, Ted and Sophia?" Mabel said, sweating. "I convinced Ted to take our daughter out on a father and daughter trip, since he's been working a lot"

"That's nice" He said, he then found the romote and switch the television on.

However, it didn't come on.

"You have got to be kidding me!" He said, getting up and whacking the television hoping it would work.

It did not.

He would have to fix the television at a later date, he needed this month's pay check for something else.

"Um, is this a bad time?" Mabel said.

It suddenly registered in his mind that Mabel hadn't come to see in almost a year.

"N-No!" He said, turning around. "I'm happy that you're here. What's going on?"

"Actually, I've got a problem" Mabel said.

"What is it?" He said, he was always happy to help.

"Actually, my family'a got a problem" Mabel said, "It's Ted. He wants to start his own business but the bank doesn't want to loan him money. Apparently, since he likes to be 'spontaneous', it's kind of made the police wary of him and that in turn made the bank look at him more than twice"

Of course.

Dipper could still remember when Ted let a bear out of its cage and people ran in fear before animal control finally got it all under control.

"So, what has that got to do with me" he said, drinking his beer.

What Mabel said next, made him spit out his beer.

"Lead us some money" She said.

The liquid went flying onto the carpet.

"*cough* *cough* W-What?" He said, he thought he heard wrongly.

"Ted, has this really great idea" Mabel said, "I'm sure he would be able to pay back the money when the business is up and running again."

She was serious!

"Are you joking?" He said, "Why should I give him any of my cash? Doesn't he have other friends to lend him cash?"

"PPPPPLLLLEEEAAASSEEE" Mabel said, "For me?" Giving him the eyes.

Dipper had never said no to her after the incident, all those years ago.

However, Dippers first instinct was to scream 'NO'!

But then Weirdmageddon appear in his mind.

He began to remember that terrible, terrible, day.

He could feel himself given in.

But Ted did not deserve even a bit of his lively hood, he already took away his sister from him and now the man wants to take the money from his pockets as well?

Sensing the conflict in his heart, Dipper was shocked when he heard.

'There is confusion in your heart, Master. Allow me to clear it up'

"WHO'S THERE!" Dipper said, turning around.

"Dipper?" Mabel said, worried.

He turned around but the moment their eyes contacted, something happened.

Dipper mind was teleported to the day of Weirdmageddon 23 years ago, but he found himself in the woods.

"What the?" He said, and then he saw it.

There was a massive black shadow in a cloak in front of him, red glowing orbs appeared where his eyes should be.

He understandably jumped in fright.

Then an arm, slowly began to raise in the air and that arm had its finger's pointing to a certain direction.

Dipper eyes unconsciously followed the direction of the arm and he was stunned.

Coming into view was a 12-year-old version of his sister, carrying a familiar looking rug sack.

The reason why he know this was so, because he remembered clearly the fight he had with her all those years ago.

It was the fight they had before the sky literally cracked open.

"Mabel?" He said.

The little girl did not seem to be able to see or hear him.

The little girl with tears in her eyes said. "Only party chocolate can cheer me up now" opening the rucksack, only to be surprised to see Dipper's Math books and chewed up pens.

She let out her disappointment in a sigh and said. "Wrong Back Pack" tossing it aside and saying. "It's not fair I wish summer could last forever"

Oh, Mabel. Dipper thought, if only an adult was around to help her get over her fears, before he said to figure "Why are you showing me this?"

He know how this ended and developed.

But the figure did not stop pointing.

Then he was stunned to hear.

"That may be possible"

Wait, Blendin Blandin?

He immediately focused back on the scene.

He did not know that, that weird time travel guy had been back at Gravity falls!

"Sweater town is not accepting any incoming calls right now" Young Mabel said, with her sweater still over her head.

"Mabel, it's me" Said, the man who had yet to reveal himself.

"What?" Young Mabel said, putting her sweater neck down so that she could actually see. "Who said that?" She said.

"That would be me" Said, the guy, suddenly appearing out of nowhere holding a television box in his arms.

And Dipper from the looks of him, know that something was wrong.

Maybe it was the way the guy was suddenly towering of the younger version of his sister.

"What? Time Traveling Guy?" Said, young Mabel, surprised. "What are you doing here?"

"You did say you didn't want summer to end right? Did I hear that right?" Blendin said, feeling creepy.

"yyyyeeesss?" Young Mabel said. "Why are you asking?"

"Mabel, run" Dipper said, he could tell that something was seriously wrong here.

But the little girl could not hear him or see the warning sign's like he could.

"Look, m-maybe it's against the rules but you once did a favour so I thought I can help you out" Blendin said, "It's called a Time bubble. It prevents time from going forward, Summer in gravity falls can last as long as you want it to"

Wait.

THE TIME BUBBLE!?

Of course, Dipper, remembered that terrible place that he found his sister in.

Was this how she was trapped inside!?

"R-Really?" Young Mabel said, wiping the tears from her eyes and sniffing. "How does it work?"

"I just need you to get a little gizmo for me, from your uncle" Blendin said, activating his futuristic watch and showing her a holographic image. "Something small. He won't even notice it's missing"

Is that? Dipper eyes widened with horror, when he recognised the image, as the Interdimensional Time rift!

And then he saw that Young Mabel looking through his rucksack!

"Hm, maybe Dipper has something like that in his nerd sack" Young Mabel said, taking the rucksack and going through it.

"MABEL, STOP!" Dipper said.

Young Mabel continued and found it, pulling it out and saying "Hm, that's odd. Is this it?" putting her hands forward.

"Yes, that's it!" Blendin said, with glee.

"MABEL NO!" Dipper said.

What he believed happened all those years ago, was being proved false right before his eyes.

"J-Just hand it over and I'll do my thing" Blendin said, walking slowly to her. "Unless you're ready to leave gravity falls"

"Just a little longer" Young Mabel said, mesmerised before she pulled her gaze away and said. "I want more summer" handing it over.

"NO!" Dipper yelled, running in hopes of grabbing the rift.

But his whole body want through everything, he turned around just in time for Blendin to 'accidentally' drop the dimensional time rift.

Young Mabel was shocked, as Blendin started laughing, he took of his glasses revealing eyes that Dipper know all too well since he once sported them as well.

It was the eyes of possession.

Blendin was possessed by Bill Cypher.

Young Mabel seemed to realise her mistake as well and said. "Wait!' Before backing away but with a mere snapped of his fingers, she passed out.

Bill Cypher finally emerged from Blendin body, making the body drop to the ground and now that the rift had nothing to contain it, it shot to the sky and Dipper witness the creation of the rift he had seen from a distance all those years ago.

Weirdmageddon had started.

The scene faded out.

Now it was just him and the figure who had stopped pointing.

This was what it wanted to show him.

Mabel Pines greatest secret.

Dipper wanted to deny it but in his heart, he know it was true.

M-Mabel.

She...

For the sake of a never-ending Summer, she almost plunged the world into complete madness.

For the sake of a longer summer, she allowed a demon to have his way with everybody around her.

Even now Dipper still had nightmares of Weirdmegaten and yet, when he went to rescue his sister not knowing the truth, she had the gall to force him to give up his dream just to get her out of prison.

"Mabel, she." Dipper said, looking down, his eyes getting foggy from tears, he could only come to one conclusion and it was.

"My own sister ruined my life"

The truth was in front of him and 23 years' worth of anger began to surface.

And scene!

I'm going to stop right there and rest. Review!
