Hey guys!!!!1 I wrote this story while listening to the only exception. That's why I called it The only Exception. HA!!! I love that song. Any way, here's the prologue.
I watched as my dad slowly closed his eyes in the field full of blood. My eyes saw his blood everywhere. I could have sworn my heart had stopped beating.
My mothers eyes turned fiery red. The red stood in contracts to her blonde hair and beautiful figure. She grabbed my hand as she cursed to herself. It was over, all over. Dad had told me to run while my mother's lips locked at his neck but I wouldn't listen.
I watched as he turned even paler than he had been before and my mother threw me down with a pair of matches. I knew what she wanted me to do. I slowly lit a match and threw it on the pile of logs she was collecting. Slowly, piece by piece, my father dissapered into the flames. I missed him already. I missed him because of my mothers fiery red eyes. I missed him because now she was my only lifeline. I missed him because he had been my best friend.
Back before I turned 5 I had not known I was different. Now I did. I wanted so much to go back into the dark, but I couldn't. I couldn't escape her. Nothing ever worked. She has excellent hearing, and eyes in the back of her head. Did I mention that she could control water? My mother wasn't human. Neither was I. She isn't nice euither, though. At least I stand humans. She treats them like trash.
My dad had changed her. But then after about 4 years she began to grow bored. It was young, midtwenties love. They didn't know. My dad loved her with every fiber in his being. She thought he was worthless. Just like today she had finally lost it. He had let her human prey get away. We were supposed to be vegaterians. She snapped.
She threw my over her back once the fire went out and we ran into the trees. The last thing I saw was his pile of ashes.
Do you like???? Let me know!
