Author's Notes: Note that I write this never having actually giving birth, so I don't actually have any idea about the amount of pain, but this is what I came up with.
How in the name of Merlin did I let Mum make me believe that pain potions were bad for the baby? Ginny Potter mentally berated herself as yet another excruciating contraction ripped through her body.
"Never again Harry Potter!" she growled through clenched teeth. "Never again will your naughty bits get within fifty feet of me!"
Harry just nodded his head and tried not to cry out as she clamped down on his hand again.

Hours later, as the new family lay together in bliss, Ginny whispered, "She was worth it Harry, she was worth every minute of it."
