"No, I haven't been here long; I didn't hear anything you didn't want me to hear."

"Now Scorpius, don't be like that; your mother and I were just trying to have a private talk, that's all."

"A private argument more like, I'm not as naïve as you think Father."

"Of course not, I do apologise Scorpius, but I must be on my way."

"Did Mother throw you out for good this time? I know she threatened to, I was wondering if she'd developed enough backbone this time."

"Scorpius! Don't talk about your mother like that, she's a good woman, you'll show her some respect."

"But you don't, and I'm only following my father's example. At least, the one I see when you're actually here."

"Scorpius, I am a business-man, I have to go on excursions, my business does expand into America and Asia. There are things I have to do."

"Now, what exactly do you do? Or should I say who?"

"I don't know what you mean Scorpius; if you're insinuating I have been unfaithful to your mother you are sorely mistaken."

"I'm not a child Father! If you're so faithful, why has she thrown you out? I've seen your suitcase, I've heard you two fighting, no matter how quiet you try to be. I know of your little trysts."

"Your mother and I are merely having a break! Really Scorpius, you seem delusional, I know the pressure of your exams may be causing a problem, and if you are feeling stressed your mother can always help you with a calming draught, but I have not had an affair!"

"Well then, if you're so sure, how is Potter?"

"Yes, so I thought."

Well, that was a tad odd. I was a little hesitant about uploading this. Oh well, if you read thank you, I hope you got the weird message. I'm writing a very long piece at the moment, but I've been trying this for a while, the original has far much more to it, it's 900 odd words long at the moment, and nowhere close to finished. What can I say? I'm a lazy writer. But yeah, I was writing some piece cos of family problems -sighs- and I was trying to vent. The original puts a lot more into the feeling of betrayal and lying.
