This is for Chibi vamp-chan's birthday
I hold his hand tightly and hoped I wouldn't have to leave soon for work. His eyes were closed as he pressed his back lightly against my side. I'm kind of happy Akito isn't a knight in shining armor because if he was then I wouldn't get to grow. Just last week some girls were messing with me on set. If he was like Naozumi then he would have interfered. Since no one did, I figured out how to deal. Akito's still strong enough to take care of me if I need it. When some persistent fans started to get rough he was able to keep them off of me without using senseless violence. He was smart about it.
My barucha started to buzz bringing us both to action. Neither of us want this moment to end but we know how much life will suck if my job is taken away from me. I pay the most of the money but Akito does his best, so most of my money goes to the bank. I don't know what we keep saving up for but we both put our money together. He gets his from competitions while mine comes from the acting world, but these two fit together somehow. I don't know exactly how, but they do.
"You have to go," Akito said looking at me with a glare on his face. I laughed and nodded then hugged him tightly. Akito wrapped his arms around me and held my body tighter against him. I've had to leave him a lot lately which isn't unusual but hard. It's a lot harder than most would imagine. I guess it's because I love him so much and we're finally together after all the drama before.
"I have to go," I said softly as we finally broke apart. He closed his eyes and clenched his fists.
"Go then," Akito hissed before opening his eyes. They were dark and cold but I could feel the loneliness behind them.
"I will I said with a sly smile and put a foot between us. "But before I do-" instantly my lips were on his. He deepened the kiss before I could and had his hands on the back of my neck pulling me forward. My hands were on his chest ready to push him back soon. I could tell it would take a bit before I could force myself to. I began to vibrate again making Akito shove me off of him. I laughed and pulled myself together before starting to leave.
"I have a surprise for you when you get home," He said nonchalantly pretending like it was no big deal.
"I'll hurry home," I whispered and kissed his cheek. Akito glared down at his hand and let me catch a glimpse of a little black box. I ran off to the waiting Rei knowing that I'm too old for him to want to drive me around. I smiled at the sulking Akito. We've grown up quite a bit since we were in school. Dating several years with suitable jobs on our plates. What's next?
