"Come on Ted, it'll be perfect! The happiest day in history!"
How could she have been so stupid, so blind, not to remember what else this day meant.
"Alright." He smiled and kissed her head. "Anything for you."
Her white dress swirled around her ankles, her blond hair falling out of it's glorious updo. She had Apparated the closest she could, but she wasn't sure where he would be anyways.
"Thank you. It'll turn out perfect, don't worry." She smiled back.
"Teddy!" She screamed, her voice high in panic. "Teddy!"
"Teddy! Teddy! I found the perfect dress today!" She squealed, walking into the house.
She kept running, her perfect dress now stained with dirt, her heels clutched in her hand, and her hair streaming out behind her. "Teddy!" Then she saw him.
"Teddy, we found someone to make the cake for us, it's going to be wonderful!"
His back was to her as he kneeled there in the dirt, his head hung. His hands gripped the grass in front of the large slab of rock, his shoulders shaking. "Teddy!" she called again, going faster to get to him.
She ran quickly into his arms, laughing as she knocked him over. "I love you." She whispered.
She reached him quickly, sinking to her knees next to him, throwing her arms around his neck. "Oh Teddy…" She whispered hoarsely. "I'm so sorry…"
"Whoops." She giggled as he blushed red, picking up the pieces of her coffee mug. "Sorry."
He wrapped his arms around her waist, the tears falling onto the stone. She put her head on his shoulder, holding him tightly. For a while neither said anything.
She looked across the bed to the man she loved, panting slightly. He stared back, a look so intense it set her heart pounding. For a while neither said anything. "Teddy?"
"Teddy?" Victoire whispered softly after a while, wiping a tear from his face.
"Yeah?" he whispered huskily, taking her hand.
"Yeah?" he whispered hoarsely, his voice choked with unshed tears.
"I love you."
"I love you."
