The Sonnet of Strawberry Pocky

Shall I compare thee to strawberry pocky?

It is no sweeter and delightful than you.

It holds none of your warmth and care, and is not suitable for playing hockey.

And pocky has none of your love, this is true.

Sometimes, too sweet are you for the likes of Yuki, but not I

And you are often not as understood as you should be; your lyrics go right to my soul.

And every note you sing shall never be sour; your talent shall never stop and die.

By chance or by fate, we have met, so full of love at long last— So go throw Yuki in a hole!

But my love is eternal and will never ever fade

I shall never claim possession of you; don't cease to shine!

Nor shall your demise fall upon you; your glow shall never fade.

When in the eternal game of life, will you be mine?
So long as people can breathe or sing, I shall love thee.

So long lives these words and this confession, the only question is, can you love me?

a/n: Oha, Naomi Hunter here! ^_^ I did this--and the other 'sonnet' I posted for English HW believe it or not. :p Kawaii, ne? My teacher loved it. I wrote these outside, where the weather was playing tricks on me since it was spring that morning but my the time school was out and I was waiting an hour *coughgonnakillyouDavecough* for my mother it was FREEZING! V_V

Okay, I know it's not a completely 'correct' sonnet but gimme a break. Ms. Portocarrero said we didn't have to worry bout syllables and Iambic pentameter.

Well mata ne!
