Kaoru notices Kenshin's mood and asks him if he's all right. He nods smiles and then absently picks on his food. Kaoru lets the matter drop and frowns.

Kenshin suddenly comes out of his room and swept a very startled Kaoru in his arms. A grinning Sano said that he'll take are of the dojo. Kenshin smiles and ran. He came to a clearing where a stream is bathed in silver moonlight. He sets Kaoru on her feet and before she could say anything a whispered "Aishiteru, Kaoru" was heard. Kenshin then explained what was bothering him. To his surprise, Kaoru tiptoed and kissed him. His arms encircled Kaoru's waist "Aishiteru, Kenshin"
