A SI Story.
"Greetings, I am Reginald Oscar Barnes, but please call me R.O.B.
Now I am sure that you have heard tales of my brethren gathering people and dropping them in so-called fictional universes, but I have planned something a bit different and hopefully you will provide me with some amusement.
Just so you know your real body is safe and sound at home in bed having a good night's sleep
the body you are in is just a copy.
Here is how it is going to work:
Your present body is at the moment 18 years old and perfectly healthy and you will be placed into a universe of my choice, you will be the local legal adult age, with documents proving that you are that age, an orphan and just left the orphanage. You will also have a suitcase with appropriate clothing for where you are, also the local currency equivalent of £1000.00 to start you off.
To make it fair you will also start off being able to speak, read and write the local language as well as any you already know.
Now to make it different to the ones my brethren do is this:
You are only allowed 1 skill or ability to take with you, this may get more powerful as you entertain
me or it may not.
What this means is that you can only do 1 thing a bit like the mutants in the Marvel but you can choose from any universe out there. So for example you could do a single spell from Harry Potter or a single Jutsu from Naruto so choose carefully.
However you can not choose the system that makes the skill work i.e. Magic or Chakra or The Gamer.
You will then be dropped in an universe that is in no way connected with the ability you have chosen and I will get the pleasure of watching you try and survive.
Now all that is left to do is choose your power.
What will you choose and were will I put for the most fun?"
The Challenge:
Following the guide lines above choose 1 power and place SI in to a universe of your choice.
Try and avoid the cliché of Worm or X-Men where powers are accepted and try an universe where powers are either rare or do not exist at all.
