Drabble. Jonathan was right, there's a link that can lead the cops or Buffy to him, but there's also a chance that he might get away with murder.

Getting away with murder

He never thought he will do this. Not like this. Not ever. But he did, and he has to keep his head on straight, some way or another. Even if that means to run away from it.

So he has to think, to calculate every step he'll take. After all, there's a link, just like Jonathan said. A link between him and her.

Never look back once you get away with it, and no one will observe a thing.

So think. There's a chance to succeed.

Beneath his feet, the sand is moving and he's running out of time. Maybe if he can put the blame on someone else. Like… like Buffy. Yes. There's a solution.

And he knows he'll get away with murder, after all.
