There is a Tide in the Affairs of Men

The is a tide in the affairs of men,

Which taken at the flood,

Leads onto fortune

Ginny had just gotten through talking to McGonagall. She wanted Ginny to be Captain of the Gryffindor Quidditch team. Ginny denied it at first, thinking she defiantly wasn't the one for the role but then took it back.

The team followed her orders smoothly, and they played well. The easily beat Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw, and when the time came for the cup against Slytherin, they creamed them, and took control of the first House Cup since the Final Battle.

The day that Ginny graduated from school, she got a letter.

The Holyhead Harpies had come to watch the Hogwarts House Cup match, and were astonished by her skills. They were willing to do anything to have her on the team.

She knew McGonagall asked her for a reason.

Omitted,

All the voyage of their life is bound in sorrows and miseries

Charlie Weasley had never been one to fall in love, but Nymphadora Tonks had been a different story for him.

In the seven years they had been in the same school, he'd never given her a second glance; he never felt he should've.

Until the one day he rammed into her in the corridor on his way to Charms. He fell in love with her that day, but he never said anything.

The day after the battle had been tiring and exhausting, but the worst part for Charlie was seeing Tonks' baby boy, Teddy.

Charlie silently wished to himself that the boy had been his.

On such a full sea,

Are we now afloat

Ron was walking through the hallways, reminiscing on his times here in the once whole castle. He remembered times of laughter, times of sorrow and even times of embarrassment. This castle deserved better than what had been done to it the previous night.

"What are doing, Ron?"

Ron turned his head to see his girlfriend smiling at him. She looked beautiful, for a healer had already gotten to her cuts and bruises.

"Nothing important." He said and wrapped an arm around her and kissed her forehead.

"How are you feeling?" Hermione asked, scanning his face for sadness. Alas, she found none.

"To be honest, love." He replied, "Never been happier."

And we must take the current as it serves,

Or lose the ventures before us

Harry was walking the castle grounds the day after the battle, thinking intensively about the events last night. So much had been lost, so much had been gained, and some much was yet to be determined.

Harry didn't really want to be bothered with anyone, so he ventured alone.

It didn't take long before Harry found someone he did want to be bothered with.

She was standing beside the lake, barely moving. He couldn't hear crying, he only heard defining silence.

She must've heard him approaching, because when he had gotten 10 feet behind her, she turned.

"Harry." Ginny breathed, relief spread across her face.

Now or never, he thought, and quickly pulled her lips to his.
