"I lost them…all of them." Shepard couldn't believe it. She just returned from her all important suicide mission and brought most of her crew back, but her friends were all gone. Those collectors were to blame for this. If she could, she would bring that base back just to destroy those little freaky bugs all over again.
She wouldn't cry. She couldn't cry, even if the collectors were long gone, she felt that they would win if she broke down now. She would honor her team's memory by defeating the reapers soon. She would honor every last one of them by telling stories of their bravery through it all. There would never be another crew like hers so she would hold them in her memory for as long as possible, even if she didn't have an eidetic memory like Thane-
"Oh Thane…" She missed him the most. How his scales would shimmer in certain lights and how he never turned her down when she wanted to talk. Unlike Garrus… Oh Garrus…my best friend. How could you leave me like this? Now she was angry. How could they? How could they just die and leave her all alone in this huge ship with yet another huge task in front of her? Tali, Miranda, and she even became close to Jack. Oh, who was she kidding, she couldn't get angry at anyone but herself for letting something like this happen. I'm responsible, I'm to blame, I should have died…not them. She slammed her fist into her fish tank which held her dead friends inside.
Just then Thane entered the room. "Siha? Are you ready to go? The crew wishes for you to join them at the Dark Star lounge for drinks and to celebrate your victory."
She looked at him with a sad expression on her face. "Aqua Team Shepard Force died."
"Again?"
"Yeah, and it's all Kelly's fault! She didn't feed them."
"Siha, she was kidnapped by the collectors, she wasn't able to feed your fish at the time." Sometimes it was like he had to babysit Shepard, but he still loved her.
"Not my problem. She's buying my new set of fish, I don't care how screwy her mind is now, she owes me." She said as she grabbed her things and started out the door.
She shot her fish tank one last look and sighed, but finally left to celebrate her epic victory with her human friends.
A/N: My fishies died and I blame Kelly. So I wrote this…it made me feel better. Hope you like it!
