A/N: New Prompt Challenge. Haven't done this before, so please forgive me if it sucks

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters, just the storyline.

"If only I made it in time, then this disaster could have been avoided."

Walking into his penthouse, Jason knew he was running late for dinner. Somehow he knew his wife was mad, but he knew the kids wouldn't mind too much if he promised to play with them after dinner.

Closing the door behind him, Jason picks up on the unusual quiet. His instincts kick into overdrive when he walks into the kitchen and sees no food on the table, nor any sign that dinner had been cooked.

Grabbing his gun out of the closet, Jason quietly climbs the steps. His certain skill set allowed him to move with the shadows and not make a sound.

There not lights on upstairs, and the fear ebbed its way into his heart. He could feel the sweat beads sliding down his forehead, and a shaky hand wiped them away.

Taking a deep breath, Jason calms himself and focuses on making sure his family is safe.

Checking his eldest son's room to see it empty, Jason quietly closes the door and checks his other son's room. Not to his surprise, it was still empty.

That left his bedroom and the nursery. They were both at the end of the hall on opposite sides. Putting his ear up to the nursery's door, he can tell that his daughter isn't inside.

Lily was a restless baby, and he often teased his wife that she was just like her mother.

The only room left unchecked was his bedroom. His instincts telling him something was behind the door. Something…or someone. Praying to God that his family was safe, Jason slowly opens the door.

Peering inside, it's pitch black. Letting his eyes adjust for a moment, Jason can tell that no one's in the room. He turns on the light, only to be bombarded by gun shots.

Water gun shots, that is.

Quickly concealing his gun from his children's eyes, Jason lets out a relieved sigh as Cameron and Jake soak him with their supersoakers. They rush him, and tackle him to the ground.

Jason was laughing too hard to worry about the fear of losing his family almost giving him a hard attack. The bathroom door opens to reveal his wife and daughter.

"All right boys, I think Daddy was punished enough. Go wash up for dinner," Elizabeth announces, as Lily reached out her arms for her daddy.

Cameron and Jake take off downstairs, leaving a thoroughly dripping Jason on the floor. Elizabeth gives him a grin and he finally stands up.

"Elizabeth-"

Giving him a look, Jason stops midsentence.

"Daddy was late for dinner, wasn't he," Elizabeth whispered to Lily and she nodded. "And now he's all wet," Elizabeth added and Lily laughed.

"Oh, you two think that's funny huh," Jason asked as he moved closer to them. Wrapping his arms around his two favorite girls, Jason laughs as Elizabeth and Lily giggle from getting wet.

Pulling away, Jason leans down and gives Elizabeth a quick peck on the lips.

"I'm sorry I'm late. How about I cook dinner tonight," Jason asked as he moved Lily into his arms. Elizabeth pretended to think about it, as if she was still mad at him, but the offer was too tantalizing to watch her sexy husband cook dinner.

"I think that's a fair trade. But first, we need to get you out of those clothes," Elizabeth seductively whispered in his ear. Jason grinned down at her, and placed a kiss on her lips.

"You got it, Mrs. Morgan."

A/N: I liked how they turned out. I was contemplating doing a serious one shot, but decided that I needed some Morgan fluff. Hope you enjoyed it!
