It had snowed the previous night and New Mobotropolis was shimmering in the morning sun. Elias was taking a walk when something cold and wet hit him in the face. "What?" Elias questioned as he wiped away the remains of a snowball. He looked across the street to see Shard with an armful of snowballs.
"Hey King, like your gift?" Shard smirked.
Elias rolled his eyes and smiled. "Yes Shard thank you," he said sarcastically.
"Glad to hear it. Here have some more," and with that Shard launched all his snowballs at Elias burying him.
Elias managed to dig himself out and glared at the robot hedgehog. "You are so going to pay for that," he told him.
"Nu uh, I got back up," Shard informed. Just then Sonic came running through kicking up a wall of snow burying the squirrel once more. By the time he'd gotten himself out both of them were gone.
Elias got up and brushed himself off. "Note to self don't be the only target around on the first snowfall," he grumbled. Just then another snowball hit him in the back of the head he turned but saw no one. Then another one hit him on the cheek, he wiped around but still saw no one. Finally one hit him in the forehead and his attackers revealed themselves.
"Ooh right in between the eyebrows," Leeta yelled as Lyco giggled.
"Not you too," Elias groaned.
"Oh it's more than just us," Lyco said pointing up. Elias looks up to see Antoine with a snow shovel on the roof of the building behind him.
"You wouldn't," Elias glared.
"My apologies my king, but it iz, how you say, all in good fun?" Antoine said before using the shovel to cause a mini avalanche onto him.
"Did someone make this bury Elias in snow day?" he asked getting back to his feet. However, that just left him wide open for Amy's attack. Elias shrieked as the frozen water went down his shirt. "Ah cold, cold, cold." As Elias tried to get the snow out of his shirt Silver was able to make the final blow of levitating the whole blocks worth of snow and dumping it on top of him. "HOLY NEO WALKE…" he was cut off by the force of the snow hitting him. "Ok, that's it right? It's finally over?" he pokes his head out of the snow and looks around. Not seeing anyone he gets up and cautiously starts walking down the street again. He only gets a few steps before he gets hit once more he looks over at the culprit with a very unamused look. "Oh come on! Even you, Charles?"
The elder hedgehog just smirked and walked away.
The next day both the Freedom Fighters and Secrete Freedom Fighters were called to a meeting in the castles court yard. They all sat around the large outdoor table waiting for Elias to speak.
"Now I'm sure you're all wondering why I called this meeting," Elias said, "Well I had something I had to say, and that is…" he produced a small remote from behind his back, "Payback time." He smirked as he pressed a button and suddenly the entire court yard was covered in a mountain of snow. Elias smiled "Now I think we've all learn a valuable lesson today."
