"You kept it, woman."

Ulquiorra's monotone-ish voice no longer sent shivers up Orihime's spine.

His emerald eyes locked onto her pretty brown orbs as she looked up at him, and smiled brightly.

She and Ulquiorra had gone out for a little walk in the park, just for fun. They hadn't gone out much lately, as Orihime was still in high school and Ulquiorra also attended because he had to.

This was all besides the fact the Ulquiorra was also serving as the vice-captain of the 9th division, under Kurosaki-taicho.

"Kept what, Cifer-kun?"

"That." his hand grabbed her wrist gently, pulling it up, and then grasping the thin silver metal band around it.

"Oh. Hai, I did." Her innocent brown eyes blinked up at him, full of wonder.

And through her eyes, a question.

'Why do you ask?'

"Why did you?"

"Why did I what?"

"Keep it."

Her bright smile softened, and she looked down at the bracelet, turning it in circles on her wrist in thought, "Because...because you gave it to me."

"Does it not make you invisible?"

Orihime giggled, and Ulquiorra raised an eyebrow. What was so funny, that's what the bracelet's main function was.

"No." Orihime slid the bracelet off her wrist and turned it playfully with her fingers, still giggling softly, "I asked Urahara-san to fix it so I could wear it and still be visible to everyone. It took a while for him to figure it out, but he did it-"

"Why would one go through all the trouble?" Ulquiorra's normally furrowed brow seemed even more furrowed with his confusion, "Is it not silly over such an insignificant thing?"

Orihime shook her head slightly.

Because even though Ulquiorra had been with her for the past 1 and a half year, human feelings still puzzled him.

"I kept it because you gave it to me, Cifer-kun," she said softly, before slipping the bracelet back onto her wrist and taking his hand. "It's something special that reminds me of you, a keepsake."

Ulquiorra blinked at her, face impassive, and then held up his cell phone (which he had yet to completely figure out) and held it in front of her face, showing her the small cell phone charm that hung on his phone- a small, dark green 'U'.

"Then is this considered a keepsake as well? You gave it to me, correct? This is a keepsake?"

Orihime stared at the charm for a moment, then burst into her cute girly giggles.

Ulquiorra raised an eyebrow. "What, may I ask, is so funny?"

"N-Nothing, Cifer-kun," Orihime's grip on his hand tightened gently, "Why don't we get ice cream? It's pretty hot today."

"But you still haven't answered my question."

Orihime sighed softly, "Does it remind me of you, Cifer-kun?"

Ulquiorra looked down at his phone, "Yes. You gave it to me."

"Then I suppose it is a keepsake." Orihime observed Ulquiorra staring at the phone charm, his face etched with wonder, "What is it, Cifer-kun?"

Ulquiorra looked up, "Birthday cake."

Orihime blinked, "Huh?"

"That is your favorite flavor of the substance known as Cream Ice, correct?"

Once again, the air was filled with Orihime's sweet little giggles, "It's Ice Cream, Cifer-kun. And I think it's very sweet of you to remember what my favorite ice cream is."

"You know mine, I assume?"

Orihime smiled, "Mint chocolate chip?"

"You are a smart woman."
