Harry ,Ron ,and Hermione ,and the rest of the potions were wating for Snape at the beginning of class one day, When they heard squeaking from the shelf behind them. When they turned around to look, They saw a hamster in a cage. .Ron pressed his face up to the bars . He reliazed that one of the openings wasn't blocked off, but it was too late.CHOMP! The hamster was dangaling from Ron's ear, and ron's movements looked similar to an Irish jig. Ron pulled , but it wouldn't come off. Hermione tried , then Harry.
As soon as he pulled the hamster let go of Ron's ear. The next thing they knew, a furry
blob was sailing across the room.
"POTTER,WEASLEY, Granger!" What is going on here?!"
"We werejust looking-"
"The cage was open! We didn't do-"
"We just wanted to-"
"And then ..Ron .. hamster"
"It attacked!"
"Really chomped on there , wouldn't let go!"
Snape looked from the hamster, to Ron's bleeding ear, Then to Harry and
Hermione's guilty faces.
"If Muffin here-"
"MUFFIN?!" All three of them cried in disbelief.
"YES!" spat Snape.
"As I was saying, if Muffin here LIVES, I will only take 10 points from Gryffindor each. Otherwise, I will take 50. EACH!"
"But..You can cure him with your potions, or with other magic!"
Said Hermione.
"Yeah !" said Harry.Besides, what were we supposed to do, let it bite Ron's
ear off?!"
"Well, it would make his face look better without such big ears.or at least one anyway" Sneered Snape.
Suddenly,Harry had a would-be calm voice.
"Okay, take how ever many points you wish, because Gryiffindor will simply
FLATTEN STINKING SLYTHERIN IN THE NEXT QUIDDITCH MATCH!"
"Besides, " said Hermione is a cool voice. "We know a little secret involving
your left arm, and if you take these points, we might just let it slip. However, if you don't, I'm asuming no one will find out."
Snape looked flabbergasted. He hissed a not so nice word picked up Muffin, and sat
down at his desk.

He was biting his lip, and his eyes were crossed with tears rolling out of them. Harry remembered that Snape hadn't put the hamster away. He tried to stifle a luagh "Potter..." Said snape is a choked high pitched voice. "Stop .. right.. -" Snape pointed at Harry and walked out of the room. They heard a "AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHERRRRRRRerRRAHeer!" All the Gryffindors burst out laughing.
But then.. The entire class looked to Snape's desk in Horror. There was Muffin, peering at them all with the evil eye. Ron gripped his ear. Then she dissapered. A few kids including Harry, Ron , and Hermione, walked over to the desk. Muffin wasn't there. They all turned around very slowly. "AHHHHHHHHHHH!! "
