Around three days after the war, Harry is sitting alone on the stairs. He has been in the Burrow since the war ended. Hermione has been away either with her parents or in her and Ginny's room. Ron has been with George working at Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. He hears from downstairs, "Ginny go get Harry, It's time for lunch," Harry is revolted at the thought of eating. Ginny comes up the stairs and sits next to him. They have not talked about what had happened during the war, they had not talked at all. Harry hadn't uttered a word since he got to the Burrow. She sat down next to him and rested her head on his shoulder. "Lunch is ready," she whispered. Then she walked away without saying anything else.

Harry had just finished his lunch, half of a sandwich, when an owl swooped in the kitchen window and landed right in front of him. It was holding a letter that, on the front of it said, 1. Remus Lupin 2. Harry Potter 3. Molly Weasley 4. Another Member of the Weasley household. Harry guessed that these were people who were supposed to open the letter if the one before the name was dead. He grabbed the letter from the owl which flew away right after. Mrs. Weasley and Ginny were looking at him. He opened the letter and read:

To whom it may concern,

My son has been left at my cousin's house, while I go off to fight at Hogwarts, with a house elf with him. This is a letter from me if I may die in this battle. The child is at number 12 Grimmauld Place.

Harry stopped this is from Tonks. Tears sprang to his eyes as he thought about Sirius.

His name is Ted (Teddy) Remus Lupin.

He is Remus son. Tears ran down his cheeks as he thought none of his father's friends are alive anymore, except Wormtail. He doesn't count Wormtail, never has.

If me and Remus die I have choose the godparents to be Harry Potter

He stopped mid-sentence. He read and re-read the sentence.

and Molly Weasley. Please take care of my son.

Sincerely,

Nymphadora Tonks

Harry handed the letter to Mrs. Weasley. Crying his eyes out. She stopped. The paper fell to the floor and she simply asked him, calmly but crying, "Do you want to go to his house," Ginny picked up the letter and Harry nodded his head.

The three of them took the floo to number 12 Grimmauld Place. They picked up Teddy dismissed Creature to Hogwarts, to help with cleaning duties, and returned home. When Mr. Weasley, George, and Ron got home they were shocked to see Teddy. Mrs. Weasley explained and showed them the letter. When she was finished Ron came to Harry's room and patted him on the back. "When Hermione comes back she will know what to do," Ron said. Harry smiled and silently thanked his friend.
