Chapter One: Signing Up

"D'you think he'll be mad at us?" Asked Ron Weasley. He and his sister were currently signing up his best friend, Harry Potter, for a game show called The Game of Love. It was simple, really. But the hard part was describing his appearance. Ginny told her brother that she'd take care of that one.

"'Course he'll be mad," Ginny answered, while frantically scribbling away on the paper. "We're just doing this for Harry's own good."

Ron moaned. "But I don't want to make him angry! Remember the last time?"

Ron had just 'burrowed' Harry's Chudley Cannons book without asking. He and Harry were best mates, so Ron thought he wouldn't be mad at him for stealing it.

Unfortunately (well, for him, anyway), he was wrong.

"RONALD BILLUS WEASLEY!" Harry yelled. Ron looked up from the book and saw his friend.

"Hey, mate. Not so loud, okay?"

"DON'T TELL ME TO CALM DOWN. YOU STOLE MY BOOK WITHOUT ASKING!" He yelled.

"Woah, slow down, bucko. Now you're starting to sound like Hermione."

"AT LEAST SHE DOSEN'T STEAL PEOPLE'S THINGS WHEN THEY REALLY NEED IT! LEVOCORPIUS!"

And Ron was left dangling in the air for four hours straight.

"Yes, that was quite funny," Ginny said, laughing at remembering the sight of Ron's face when Harry did the spell. It took the teachers two hours to find poor Ron, his face practically purple and blue.

"Stuff it," He replied. "Are you done yet?"

As if on cue, Ginny said, "Done!" She put in a picture of Harry incase it wasn't accurate. Ginny was sure that Harry would get in. After all, he was the boy-who-lived and defeated Voldemort, and nearly everyone in Britain knew who he was…

"RONALD BILLUS WEASLEY!" Roared Harry a couple of days later. His owl, Hedwig, had delivered him a fancy-looking envelope with the initials TGL on it. It was describing that he had been accepted into some sort of game show called The Game of Love, and he was invited to go to a ball where the Bacherlotte, (whatever that was) was going to meet him and thirty other men.

"Do you have any idea what this is?" He yelled at Ron again.

Meanwhile, Ron was trying to put his best I've-never-seen-this-before-in-my-life-but-I'll-see-if-i-can-help kind of look.

"I know what it is!" Ginny piped up. Harry's face of fear cleared when he heard Ginny's voice. Ginny was always right.

"It's a invitation from the wizarding show called The Game of Love, where men on the show compete to be the women's girlfriend forever, and the winner of the show get's to be her fiancé," Ginny responded. "Ron and I signed you up for it."

"WHAT?! Why?" Harry yelled.

"Because we don't want you to grow up into a sour old man who lives wit
