"Len, are you packed yet?" Miku yelled at Len, banging on the door of his room. He didn't answer, so Miku tried to open it. It was locked. She went downstairs.
"Meiko, Len won't answer the door, and it's locked." Miku complained.
"When that happens, we usually would get Gakupo to slice the door in half, but Luka took away his sword, and it broke. Now, we must go to plan B." Meiko explained.
"You mean…"
"Yes."
Meiko knocked on a different door. A blue haired man walked out. He seemed to have a gloomy aura circling him. Believe it or not, it was Kaito.
"WHAT?" He yelled angrily.
"Look, I know you're angry because Len ate all your ice cream-"
"IT WAS MY FAORITE FLAVOR. MY. FAVORITE. FLAVOR!" He screamed in Meiko's face.
"Well, you can get revenge," Kaito perked up at that. "Go and kick down his door. If he's asleep, wake him up." Kaito smiled and walked away. They heard a loud bang, and some yelling.
"LEN, WAKE YOUR LAZY BUTT UP RIGHT NOW!" Kaito screamed at the peacefully sleeping boy, who shot up.
"YES SEARGENT!" Len screamed, as if he was in the military. Kaito walked out happily. Len sat in bed, panting.
'Man, I knew he was grumpy in the morning, but this is new. I don't even have a door anymore!' Len thought angrily.
"OH CRAP!" He yelled. "I have to pack for the camping trip!" He grabbed a banana from the fruit bowl in his room. He shoved the whole thing in his mouth and franticly began packing. Finally. He was done packing. He heard a horn honking out side. He grabbed his bags and ran to the car. The only seat left was the one next to Kaito. Dang. Three cars, and he had to be stuck in this one. Next to the guy who he hated the most.
Once at the camp site, Kaito had a black eye, and Len had a bruised neck.
"What are we gonna do with you two? You guys kill each other whenever you get the chance." Gakupo questioned. Len growled.
Once everyone had set up sleeping bags and ate dinner, Meiko had orders.
"Kaito, Len, you two go for a walk and try to get along. In fact, get along, no matter what. Oh yeah, it's getting dark, so take flashlights. And no complaining!" She commanded handing them flashlights.
"K-kaito-nii-san, I'm scared." Len whispered, cowering behind Kaito. They heard a hiss, and saw a shadow that was oddly human shaped.
"Who's there?" Kaito yelled out bravely. He shone the flashlight to find a man about his age, with red eyes, staring at him menacingly.
"Hand over the boy, and you won't die tonight." The man hissed in a voice that sounded like a pipe releasing steam.
He looked at Len.
"Stay behind me, I won't let him touch you. If that guy scratches you I swear I'll-" He was cut off by Len screaming,
"KAITO NII-SAN! BEHIND YOU!" Len screamed, pointing at the man that was lunging towards Kaito. Kaito pushed Len back and yelled 'RUN!' as loud as he could. Even Meiko and the others heard it. Len watched horrified as the man bit Kaito in the neck. Len saw a stream of blood drip from where the man bit Kaito.
"Forget me… and… Run…" Kaito struggled out before he went limp. Len ran towards the camp as fast as he could. Once he finally reached the camp, he collapsed panting. Everyone ran to his aid.
"What the HECK happened? And where's Kaito?" Meiko asked panicky.
"K-Kaito-nii…" Len forced out with tears in his eyes, "Is gone." He whispered the last part.
"What do you mean he's gone?" Ted asked, worriedly.
"Kaito-nii-san… was… bitten by…" Len choked out.
"A snake?" Rin asked.
"N-no... a… vampire…"
