The Face Meets The Other Face

A/N: Alright, please disregard the title, I don't think it's that good. Anyway, this is a request for the 100 themes 'love'. It's for WMHSCheerioBrittany. Thanks for the request!

Pairing: James/Jennifer- the brunette one

Theme: Love

"Hi Jennifer," James called as he spotted his girlfriend on a lounger by the Palm Woods pool. He made his way over to her and was about to reach her when CRASH! James was sent sprawling on the ground, the hard ground, for that matter, along with his best friend Kendall Knight.

Kendall, apparently knowing better at the moment, made no move to get up. As James sat up, Logan sailed through the air and hit him in the head, causing him to fall down again.

"Carlos!" Logan shouted as he landed with a loud thud. Figures, James thought. Carlos would be the one behind this. The one with the helmet.

Figuring the flying people parade was over now, James sat up again and managed to stand up this time and take another step toward Jennifer when SMACK! Something that felt like plastic on a body rammed into him, sending sprawling again just as Kendall managed to roll out of the way. Carlos landed on top of James and sat up, looking around confusedly.

"Hey guys, that didn't really hurt," Carlos told Logan and Kendall, not knowing he wa son top of James. When Kendall and Logan sat up and burst out laughing, Carlos stared at them as if they had gone crazy. "What?" he asked.

"Easy for you to say," James grumbled as pushed Carlos off of him. This just happened to land Carlos in the pool with a splash, soaking James, who flopped back down in defeat. Kendall and Logan stood up.

"Later James," Kendall said as the two walked off.

Jennifer had been watching the whole thing and quickly ran over to her boyfriend.

"James!" she said in concern as she knelt next to him. "Are you alright?"

"I'm fine," James groaned as he sat up to look at her, but not before checking the air for any other flying people. As he turned to look at her, their eyes met for the first time in a couple of days, something James had missed when he was recording.

"Are you sure?" she asked him again as she grabbed his hand, already lost in his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm sure, Jen," James assured her before he blurted out what had been on his mind since they started dating two months ago. "I love you." He mentally slapped himself that he had let it slip now as she stared at him in disbelief. He felt himself become insecure as he always did with girls and started babbling. "I'm sorry, it just slipped out and you probably don't feel-"

"I love you too," Jennifer cut off his rambling as sat next to him on the ground and wrapped her arms around his waist, not caring that she was getting soaked.

James smiled down at her before their lips met in a sweet kiss. As they broke apart and continued staring at each other, they faintly heard Kendall and Logan being pushed into the pool by Carlos. They were in love and nothing else mattered.
