Footprints in the Sand

My latest and fourth religous work of liturature, although I did write this the story is not mine. Regardless don't take it any less seriously.

Footprint

in the sand

One night I had a dream.

I was walking along a beach

with the Lord, and across the skies

flashed scenes from my life In each

scene I noticed two sets of footprints in

the sand. One was mine, and one was the

Lord' the last scene of my life appeared

before me, I looked back at the footprints in the

sand, and, to my surprise I noticed that many times

along the path of my life there were only one set of

footprints. And I noticed that it was only at the lowest

and sadest times in my life. I asked the Lord about

it: "Lord you said once I decided tofollow you,

you would walk with me forever. But I notice that

only during the most tring times in my life there are

one sets of footprints. I don't understand you

left my side when I needed you the most."

The Lord said: "My precious child,I

never left you during those times

of trial and pain. Where you see

one set of footprints, is where

I was helping you when you

so that you could continue."

"How?" I asked, He then

said in the kindest voice:

"I simply carried you."
