Gray was feeling very dull when he came to the guild that day. He looked around for a certain pink haired dragon slayer; who was nowhere to be found. Gray sighed; nothing else could make his day bright like beating up the dragon slayer. He quietly went sat near the bar, as he awaited his rival's arrival. He was sure he would show up any moment now.

'5…4…3…2…1,' Gray counted.

'Hey! Pervy popsicle!You are you doing sitting over there?,' a voice called from behind the ice mage. Gray smirked. Even though he acted as this irritated him, he was always using silly things like this to get into fights with the dragon slayer, to take his mind of things.

Gray turned around and the pink haired dragon slayer was nowhere to be seen.

Instead, he saw a certain blue haired girl staring at him with an annoyed expression.

"Why are you staring at me like that perv! Do I have a mushroom on my head or something?,"

Gray's mind couldn't process what he heard. He just kept staring at the girl. Are you sure she said that? His mind asked. Well yeah! His ears replied.

"Helloo, are you there?," she said snapping her fingers under his nose.

"Juvia what-,"

He was cut short by the girl who planted her fist in his face. He achieved lift off and crash landed, breaking a few perfectly good furniture. The entire guild grew silent. The girl whom they had known to like the ice mage and be very clingy towards him had just given him a knuckle sandwich.

Little doubts that this was a dream, melted away in Gray's minds. He held his jaw. The pain was real, there was no mistaking it. But he didn't know why the water mage had punched him.

Juvia folded her arms and glared at him. "What's the matter with you today ice princess?,"

There was murmuring all around the guild. No one could understand what was happening.

Amongst all this a certain pink haired dragon slayer made his way towards her.

"That's enough Juvia-san," he said placing his hand on her shoulder.

"But-,"

"NO buts," he said lifting her up and left the guild carrying her over his shoulders, while the the girl was yelling something about Gray being a coward.

"Did I just day dream?," Mira asked Lucy who was nearby.

"I don't think so…,"
