Lisanna wasn't stupid.

She knew Natsu was not into her. Why had she even tried?

Since a long long time ago she had a crush. Okay. Maybe a huge crush. She had tried to be pretty, be nice, be helpful. Basically, a dream girl.

But that wasn't it.

"students, we have a new student. Please welcome her."

Perfection was what he deserved Lisanna argued with her mind. 'He's imperfect. Perfection and imperfection does not match.' Her mind coyly answered.

Middle school.

"Oh my god, this feels so weird." Levy laughed as she munched on her chips.

"I know right?!" Lisanna agreed with her, "this feels good but horrible at the same time!"

"Weird." Natsu joined in the conversation, "middle school is almost exactly like elementary." He said.

"Oh Natsu you dummy." Lisanna blushed and looked away. "Only you would say that."

Natsu grinned at her ear to ear. "I guess." He turned away from the two girls and fought with Gray and Gajeel.

Lisanna unknowingly clenched her pencil as she glanced at the board. The professor blabbed about whatever they were learning. But she wasn't paying much attention at all.

"Dammit Natsu." She hissed, "why do you make me feel this way?" She looked down hearing small giggles from the other side of the room.

Lucy Heartfillia.

Laughing, blushing.

At Natsu Dragneel.

Lisanna felt tears coming to her eyes as she remembered the day they got together. It was the worst day of her life. She concluded.

She raised her hand shakily and whimpered when they chose her.

"Ah Lisanna!" Professor Mavis smiled kindly at her. "You would like to answer the question..?" She asked.

"Eh.. no.. may I go to the restroom?" Lisanna felt a gaze but she ignored it. "Please?"

"I suppose. Here's the hallway pass." Mavis nodded to her. Lisanna stood up with her hand trembling slightly as another memory came back to her.

Highschool

" I love you Natsu..."

"I really like you too."

Lisanna gasped quietly as she heard the conversation behind the school. She felt tears coming to her eyes as she fiercely whipped her head away and began to run away.

She had dropped a paper.

Natsu + Lisanna.

Lisanna felt tears running down her cheeks and coked back a sob as she began to cry uncontrollably in the bathroom stall.

"Damn you Natsu..."

because Lisanna wasn't stupid.

Everyone could see it.

Lucy and Natsu were a match made in heaven.
