Exiakaiser: Hello, everyone, and welcome to the REBOOT of Kamen Rider Ultima. Mainly due to lack of a good footing and no way to understand several Rider Worlds, I have decided to restart the series relatively from scratch. In doing so, this allows me to reset my story, and begin anew.
Like with the last version, Ultima uses figures and Compass motifs. However, this time, he is not going universe hopping. This world is actually just a massive world full of Kamen Riders. Each area Ultima visits has its own Rider. This makes the story less complex, and allows for a whole new way of writing it, as less of a universe hopping quest, but more of a journey to find and learn from all the Riders.
And now, for the villains. Like with Version 1, the Shard are the main villains. However, there is a new villain group: Death-Ultima. Noone knows who or what they are. Also, the Shard are gonna be rearranged and added to in terms of Generals.
As with the last series, there were 4 main General-level Shards: Emerald, Sapphire, Amethyst, and Zircon. However, the ones I forgot to add were Ruby and Moonstone. Moonstone was a special Movie Wars only character I designed a few months after I started this series. However, I dropped Ultima and started working on Metal Hero GX more often, and the series started to fade. However, recently, I decided to reset the world for two reasons:
First reason was that the world was too complex. It was so massive that to make it so that Ultima was gonna find and gather all the Rider Figures would take too long. Second Reason: The series was starting to feel too much like Decade, so I decided to scrap the original design and try a new path.
Now, it is time to introduce the new world of Kamen Rider Ultima: This world is actually a massive world, similar in design to our own. However, unlike our world, there are three universes: The material universe (U-0), the Alterverse (U-1), and the Dark Realm (U- -1). The Alterverse is the original realm of the Shards, and it is still their prime function to find and destroy worlds, and turn all life into gemstones. The Dark Realm is the home of the Death-Ultima.
Now, onto the Main character:
Name: Daigo 'Odd Jobs' Kurokame
Age: 21 years
Gender: Male
Hometown: Amaraki City
Physical appearance: 6'1", blonde hair, brown eyes, and 199 lbs. Wears a lot of khaki, being a former student of Archaeology. Has a pair of nice shades, and fingerless gloves. Wears brown leather boots.
Personality: Observant, sharp, yet has no sense of self. Believes that his own self worth is not really important, and even mentions that he is not really worthy of the title of the Rider name. However, over time, he earns his title as a Kamen Rider.
History: Daigo was a young man who started an odd jobs business to get enough money to get into college. His parents disowned him when he decided to pave his own path. They died in a SHOCKER attack. However, little did he know he was about to follow in the footsteps of the Kamen Riders.
Occupation: Jack of all Trades (fancy way of saying 'odd jobs worker')
Quirk: He watches Kamen Rider shows*.
Quote: "I will decide my path!"
Rider design: Compass motif on the Driver and the Suit front. Compass arrow in Driver is the sword, the Ultima Calibur.
Vehicle: The Ultima-Raptor is similar in design to Faiz's Auto Vajin, but was based off of a Kawasaki KLR. The Neo-Ultima Raptor is based on a Kawasaki Ninja.
Rider main form final attack: Ultima Kick: Ultima kicks his opponent into the air, and then jumps up after him, kicking him even further into the air.
Ultima Perfect North: Slashed his opponent in a diagonal strike, going down-left to up-right. He then calls out, "Perfect North", and lines the blade so that it is vertically in the air. The cut he made, invisible at first, appears and splits the monster apart. This causes the monster to explode.
*= I know how weird it sounds, but in this world, the Kamen Rider franchise is both fictitious and real at the same time. Most of the details are muddled to keep the Riders from being recognized.
Unlike my other series, I will not be accepting OC designs for this series. Trust me; I am good at designing monsters for this series. The Showa era shows had a basic start: Spider, Bat, and the like. Also, there is no deadlines anymore, seeing as this series is not a high priority.
Now, other than the Ultima Figure, there are three new editions. First off, Ultima starts off with only two rider figures, other than his own- Drive, and RX. This will allow for more battles along the way. Also, Daigo starts off in the same city as Drive. However, He meets Drive by accident in this episode.
It is now time for the disclaimer: I only own the main hero and villains of this series. Kamen Rider itself is copyright and TM Shotaro Ishinomori and Toei Productions. Now, sit back and relax.
In the dream, I see the 30 Riders. They face a battle with a nightmarish force. The sky turns red for a few hours as a series of 4 crystals fall to the ground. The Riders are forced to retreat, as the 4 gems rise up. All of a sudden, a new light appears on the ground. It is called ULTIMA, and it forces the Gems back into the ground.

-Meanwhile-
In the ruins of one of the Smart Brain Company's known labs, in a basement about 6 stories below ground level, a group of 6 beings stood in watch of a small vat. In it was a strange device, like a belt. It was red, but the buckle was black and looked like a compass. On the compass's sides were 6 slots, big enough to hold a single figure. To one side, there was a figure. It looked like a Kamen Rider, but with a compass on its chest. On the back was a name- ULTIMA PATHFINDER.
One of the strange beings pulled it out. He looked, for all intents and purposes, like a green humanoid fly. "It's complete," he said in a raspy voice, laughing as he pulled the devices out of the vat. "The Ultima Driver is ready. With this device we will conquer this world."
All of a sudden, a topaz eagle seemed to swoop down and grab the Driver, flying away.
"DAMN YOU, TOPAZ," said another being, looking like a sapphire shark, "let me take care of her, Emerald."
"Gladly," said Emerald. Sapphire punched himself in the face, and grabbed a fragment off of his face. He then released a little energy into it as the fragment seemed to change shape into a spider and grew to human size.

"Go, Mad Spider," said Sapphire, "Tear Topaz apart, and retrieve the Ultima Driver! We must get it back at all costs!"

Episode 1
Rise of a New Hero!
Daigo liked to get up early to watch the latest episode of the series Kamen Rider Gaim. It was Sunday, and business had been slow as heck. Daigo decided to call it a day, and was just about to close the door to his place of work, 'Kurokame, Inc.', when he heard the door ring. "Welcome, is there something I can…" His voice trailed off as he saw the person coming in was wounded. "Hang on," he then said, "I'll get you a doctor."
"No doctors," said the person, a young girl about Daigo's age. "Was followed here. Can you make sure He is not following?"
Daigo nodded, and looked out the door. He saw a spider-like humanoid standing out in the rain. "Looks like you were followed alright," said Daigo.
"Then hurry," said the young woman, standing up, "You will not be able to defeat him in your current state."
However, Daigo was already out the door, rushing towards the monster. "Go away, demon," said Daigo, throwing a punch at the creature. However, the monster managed to intercept it, and pushed Daigo back.
The young woman was able to get Daigo up and was able to get back into the house. She then made the monster fall back by blasting it with a flare beam.
Later, after Daigo had some time to calm down, He then said, "It would seem like that thing is connected to you in some way. Why don't you tell me all about what the 'FAIZ' is going on here?"
After a while, the young woman, who had been silent the entire time, spoke, "To explain to you what is going on, you have to understand a few things. First off, I am not really human. I am actually a living crystalline lifeform from a parallel dimension."
After three minutes, Daigo then commented, "So, to put it bluntly, you are a creature of living Topaz from a lost universe."
"Not lost," said Topaz, "Dead. My universe was destroyed by the Death Ultima, a race of demonic killing machines from a universe that should not even exist. I was created, along with my own kind, the Shard, as a tool of war against the Death Ultima. However, our leader, Dia, wanted nothing more than to destroy the universe and turn every living thing into gemstone."
"Why," asked Daigo, "That would have been a unnecessary slaughter of innocent lives!"
"Because," said Topaz, "Unlike the rest of the Shard, Dia sees all other lifeforms as inferior and unnecessary to his plan- the destruction of all but one universe. That universe he would rule as the new God, deciding who lives or dies based on his whim."
"Unforgivable," said Daigo, gritting his teeth, "Totally unforgivable. Is there any way to stop such meaningless slaughter?"
"There is," said Topaz, pulling out the Ultima Driver, "Only the one who wields the powers of Ultima can defeat the Shard. However, the others are stronger than me, and a Shard cannot defeat another Shard, and you will have to become stronger in order to defeat them."
"What do I need to do," asked Daigo, grabbing hold of the Ultima Driver.
"Are you sure you want to become the wielder of Ultima," asked Topaz, "It's not something you can be just by instinct."
"You need someone to fight for you," said Daigo, "And, seeing as you came here, why not allow me to be that which you need right now, a hero?"
Topaz thought about it for a bit, and then smiled and said, "Alright. Here, take the Driver and these two figures. They should be enough to get you started."
Daigo graciously took the Driver and figures, and placed the Driver around his waist. "When I was younger," said Daigo, "I told my family that I would follow my own path. Now, I renew that vow. Let's go get that beast."
-Meanwhile-
"Drive," called out the Drive Driver, "Type Speed!" Shinnosuke was on the scene as the Fragment beast was wrecking a small portion of the center of town. Kamen Rider Drive, as he was known, was trying to stop the beast, but he was being pushed back further.
"This guy's tough," said Shinnosuke, after being hit hard enough to flatten a normal person.
"That would mean he is strong," said the Driver, "Plus, the readings are not consistent with other Roimudes. Must be a new enemy."
Just as Drive was getting up, the Fragment raised one of his arms into the air, charging up what looked like a particle beam. However, before it could fire, it was hit from behind by a motorcycle wheel. The wheel belonged to a red Kawasaki KLR, carrying two riders.
"Looks like your instincts were spot on," said one of them.
"You sure you want to do this," asked the other.
"You need someone to do this," said the first, "Besides, I prefer to decide my own path, remember?"
"True," said the other, impressed.
"Uh," said Drive, curious, "Just who are you two? And what are you doing here?"
"Sorry," said the first, taking off his helmet. "My name is Daigo Kurokame, and, my assistant, Karen 'Topaz' Hiryu. We'll take it from here, Drive." With that, he placed the Ultima Pathfinder, Drive, and RX figures into the Ultima Driver. With each figure, the Ultima Driver made a strange sound. Daigo then grabbed the Driver, and spun it till it played a trumpet. Daigo then raised his right hand in front of his face and then said 'HENSHIN!" Then he pressed a red button on the top of the Driver.
"PATHFINDER," called out the Ultima Driver, as the compass head spun fast, generating a ball of light. This light sphere then changed into a black suit, similar to Ryuki. However, as the suit encompassed Daigo, a giant Compass appeared on the head and chest. Then the arrow seemed to stick out to the upper left corner. Then the Driver called out, "MAKE MY WAY SAFE!"
"I am the one who shall cut a path through the darkness," said Daigo, as the helmet formed. "I am Kamen Rider Ultima, and I shall decide my own path."
"So," said the Fragment, "You have given an inferior being the powers of Ultima. For that, you will be destroyed!" It then charged Topaz.
"Hey," said Daigo, giving the Fragment a spinning bird kick, "I'm your opponent!" Daigo than followed it up with a flurry of punches, followed by a leadfoot round house kick.
"Use your figures," said Topaz, going over to Drive.
"Right," said Daigo, before asking, "How?"
"Twist the driver to the left for abilities," said Topaz, "And right for forms."
"Got it," said Daigo, spinning the Driver to the right, to the RX figure. Then he smacked the red button on the top.
"RX," called out the Driver, as the compass on the head and chest spun to the right so that it was facing upper right. Then the suit seemed to change to match Kamen Rider Black RX's Prince of the Sun form. The Driver then seemed to change form as well, except for the red button was still there. Then the Driver called out, "GO FORTH, PRINCE OF THE SUN!"
All of a sudden, Ultima, now in RX form, struck at the Fragment with the ferocity of a demon, striking in the same style Minami Kotaro did.
The Fragment was pushed back by the sudden change in style. However, it actually pushed back harder, hitting Ultima with an 8-armed strike attack that sent Ultima flying.
"Damn," said Daigo, thinking for a second. Then, seeing Drive there, he said, "Hey, Drive!"
"Yes," asked Drive, confused.
"Mind if I use your form while I am here," asked Ultima.
"My form," asked Drive, now really confused.
"I have a plan," said Ultima, whispering it to Drive. "I intend to do a tag strike. However, when I change to a different Rider, I only get standard equipment, no additional armaments, like your shift cars. I was gonna suggest a fire-and-shadow tag strike, but I need your consent to use some of your power."
"I see," said the Drive Driver, intrigued, "Shinnosuke, I think we can trust him with Max Flare for a bit."
"Got it," said Drive, handing Ultima the Max Flare, who honked his approval. "I will want it back, when you are done."
"I am a man of my word," said Daigo, reverting to Ultima, and turning the Ultima Driver to the Drive figure and pressing the red button again. "Let's drive!"
"DRIVE," said the Ultima Driver, changing Ultima into the type speed form of Kamen Rider Drive, "ALL WE NEED IS DRIVE TO PAVE THE WAY!" This form had everything that Drive had, including the Shift Brace on his left arm.
"Now," said Ultima, placing rotating the back of the Shift car and placing it into the Shift Brace, then turned the activator key on the side of the Ultima Drive Driver, and then activated the Shift Car in the Brace.
"TIRE KOKAN," called out the Ultima Driver, as a giant flame wheel attached itself to Ultima Drive Form. "MAX FLARE!"
"Well," said Drive, switching to Midnight Shadow, and activating it's basic special attack, "It looks like we may have some new competition." All of a sudden, twin shuriken tires appeared in his hands.
"Same to you," said Ultima, activating his version of the Flare attack, which generated a second flame wheel. "However, let's just focus on beating this foe in front of us, shall we?"
"Yes," said Drive, "But what is the attack gonna be called?"
"How about we call it this," said Ultima, as the pair of them attacked, "DANCE OF SUNLIGHT AND SHADOW!" Then the attacks connected, sending the Fragment reeling.
"Quick," said Topaz, "Return to Ultima and finish it! If it blows up on the ground, it will discharge same amount of energy as a small atomic bomb!"
"Right," said Ultima returning to his basic form. All of a sudden, Ultima rushed forward and did a back flip, kicking the monster into the air. He then twisted the Driver a full 360 degrees to the left and pressed the red button.
"FINAL ATTACK," called out the Ultima Driver, "ULTIMA KICK!"
All of a sudden, Ultima jumped into the air, just as the Fragment reached the top of the arc of Ultima's first kick, and did another back flip kick, as Ultima called, "ULTIMA KICK!" The resultant kick sent the fragment into the lower stratosphere, where it exploded.
-Meanwhile-
"Great," said the Sapphire shark, changing into a humanoid form. "We just lost a fragment and we still have nothing to show for it! How do we explain this to Dia?"
"Don't ask me, Sapphire," said the Emerald Fly, also reverting to humanoid form. "You were the one with the crazy idea to send him into the city."
While the two were arguing, a Zircon knight stood there, silent. He then turned and started walking.
"And just where are you heading," asked a strange amethyst girl.
"To the next city to start my own path," said the knight, "with the Ultima Driver in the hands of a human, sooner or later, he will become strong enough to defeat us. When that happens, I will face him personally. I suggest we all start going into different towns. Who knows what battles we will have to face."
"Should I also tell Ruby and Moonstone," asked Amethyst.
"Yes," said Zircon, and with that, he left, two days later, the rest of the Shards had up and left, going separate ways.
-2 days later-
"You are gonna do what," said Topaz, confused.
"I am getting this feeling," said Daigo, packing up enough clothes and food for a multiple day trip. "I gotta find the rest of the Riders and gain power or skills from them. Something tells me I am gonna need all the help I can get."
"Well," said Topaz, "I may as well go with you. You still don't have enough training to fully unlock the powers of the Ultima Driver. However, it is now bonded to you, and it would be very difficult to find a new candidate."
"Then it's settled then," said Daigo, "Besides, I still know so little about you."
"Then I guess its good I decided to come along," said Topaz.
A few hours later, Daigo had packed, closed the shop, leaving a sign saying he would be gone for a while. He then made sure he had enough fuel, and started riding west, towards Hibiki City.
-Next Time-
We made it to Hibiki City, and found it crawling with Fragments and Frags! However, for some reason, they are hybrids made with Monster DNA as well. Only Sound will defeat them. In order to gain the power to do so, I begin a search for the Hibiki Figure. Next Time on Kamen Rider Ultima REBOOT:

A look at Kamen Rider Ultima's weapons and figures
Topaz: Welcome to 'Backtracking', where we look at different weapons and figures Kamen Rider Ultima uses in the fight to preserve his universe. Today we will be looking at the Ultima Pathfinder Figure. However, before we begin, let's start by talking Types.
Daigo: Each figure has a Type, or classification that each represents. They are as follows:
Strength

Form Change
And Gimmick
Topaz: Ultima Pathfinder fits the Gimmick Type and is the base form of Kamen Rider Ultima. However, he can, with the right figures, become the basic forms of other Riders. His special attack is the Ultima Kick, a spinning backpedal that sends his opponents into the lower stratosphere.
Daigo: And while we are at it, let's talk about his secondary figures, starting with the RX Figure. This figure is one of the first ones available to him, and others will become available to him with his interactions with different Riders as the series progresses. Each with a different special ability.
Topaz: RX form allows Ultima to access the powers of the Prince of the Sun, Kamen Rider Black RX. However, until the powers are fully unlocked, Ultima will have to work hard to defeat his opponents for a while.
